About the Game
Ashes of the Union — a vehicular shooter with roguelike elements, offering a wild take on an alternate future of the Soviet Union. Build your combat vehicle and show nature who's boss!Soviet Post-Apocalypse: Immerse yourself in an atmosphere where your cozy communal apartment has been replaced by an autonomous bunker. Forget about cats and dogs. In this world, your favorite "pets" will be giant Hornbeetles and deadly Chewercrabs. But don't worry, they don't bite... too painfully.
Equipping your vehicle with various weapons: Soviet-style tuning! Turn your old "Bukhanka" into a fortress on wheels with rocket launchers and laser cannons. Now you're not just driving through the wastelands, you're taming them!
Exploring the map and searching for resources: Trips through the ruins have never been so exciting! Ride through the wreckage, collect rare resources, and avoid poisonous mists because we don't have an antidote (yet).
Models of Soviet technology: Feel the power and reliability of Soviet engineering! Use a variety of vehicles, from "GAZ" to "Ural," to traverse dangerous territories and fight monsters.
Technological development: From the Kalashnikov tank machine gun to the laser cannon, from ordinary wooden planks to the strongest cast armor. Upgrade your technology to increase your chances of survival and become the king (or queen) of the wastelands.
Are you ready for new adventures in a world where only ingenuity and the good old "PKT" will help you survive? Let's roll, comrade!

Hotfix 2 patch #10
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45097196/955b91c7afd9ff4eb21deabcd2cf6fa924cf50b2.png Bug squashing: Fixed aiming with the top-down camera. You can aim again — no more guessing Fixed crosshair display in top-down view. The reticle is back where it belongs Fixed a duplicate-subscription bug that made vehicle recoil grow worse over time. Recoil no longer trains like it’s in the gym Fixed loot from crates not dropping right away. Crates no longer need a moment to “think about it” Optimization: Updated the terrain loading system — map load times should be shorter Matched load and unload distances for terrain chunks. Camera-switch stutters from that should be goneRead full article on Community Announcements (Landelo)Patch NotesOfficial
Hotfix for patch #10
New Added a scrap metal system. Unlock the scrap metal tech in the research tree, then while driving around the world you’ll find scrap at loot spots with a 5% chance. Use it to upgrade your vehicles — each level permanently adds HP and armor. Soviet recycling: today a UAZ body panel, tomorrow +5 armor for your heart on wheels. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45097196/7c304173f5b5fcb408fca89aae6597f536d11591.png Balance For the "Aerodynamic Tests" data, the max speed requirement was lowered from 100 to 50 km/h. Even the GAZ 69 can pretend to be a sports car now — just don’t say that out loud. Slightly increased grip on all surface types, because the GAZ 69 was handling like an iron. Disabled the rock generation system under the wheels. Light vibration of the wheels and chassis looks good when you’re flying over flat ground. But on rough terrain — with a swarm of hungry bugs behind you — it was just adding difficulty. The rocks went on a well-earned vacation. The bugs did not. Increased the DPS of the "Lavender" weapon. Smells like peace. Hits like a chainsaw. Bugs Fixed explosive projectiles Fixed the "Lavender" projectile. It now hits where you’re aiming, not the neighboring time zone. Fixed bugs stretching upward on despawn. No more living chitin skyscrapers. Fixed the laser beam — it no longer passes through bugs The shotgun no longer applies impulse to a dead bug, reducing the chance of corpse spin mania. The free-spin merry-go-round is closed. Fixed a den bug where it wouldn’t react to the player. The den is no longer on mute. Fixed a bug comparing speed to the required value when earning speed data Fixed bugs with the popup panels that showed collected loot and data Fixed a bug with resetting colliders on trees you’d driven away from. Trees no longer hold a grudge from a distance.Read full article on Community Announcements (Landelo)AnnouncementsOfficial
PatchNote #10 Bugs and Optimization
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45097196/200e3b0247461322efef5bbf070bb73766d4739a.png Fighting bugs: Fixed a bunch of crashes. The “please don’t explode” button was found at last Fixed the cursor escaping the screen when opening the pause menu. No more jailbreaks Fixed bonus calculation errors in the garage. Math won… on the second try. Or the third. Whatever Fixed leaderboard display issues Optimization: Optimized game scene loading Optimized bug logic and animations. Now the bugs twitch faster than our deadlines Optimized trees, map objects, bullets, and bug spawning. Forests, fauna, and chaos are a bit kinder to your FPS UX: Reworked the layout of the technology reward panel Added hints and dimming for valid ingredients to cut down on “wait, that doesn’t go there” Added a quality setting for bug animationsRead full article on Community Announcements (Landelo)Patch NotesOfficial

PatchNote #9 Water Barriers
Greetings, survivors! 👋 We are happy to announce that the game has reached version 1.0! Since the release, we have worked hard, and now the game is even better. New features, improvements, and fixes—everything is waiting for you in this update. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45097196/a99ecb1440d8bd7849a041f70a6c18bf3ae71d7d.png CONTENT A new location to explore. Here, you'll encounter narrow streets, shaky bridges, and water barriers that create difficult conditions for movement. But water isn't the only threat—battles with beetles in confined spaces will also be a real challenge. Two new repeatable quests: killing Stingbelly and finding a PKT. These tasks promise not only intense battles but also valuable trophies for those ready to take them on. Repeatable quests with 3 stars can now only be completed once. Yes, no repeats. But the rewards for them have been significantly increased! The snorkel now protects against poisonous gas. Your gear will offer protection not only from water obstacles but also from toxic clouds, making travel through dangerous zones a bit safer. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45097196/128e5e5aedcf18f5d25b11a1b70414ded2eda6ba.png OTHER CHANGES Interface: A heat station has been added to the garage map. The cartographers had to work hard. Texts: Localization errors have been fixed. The dialog window display time in the race has been increased. You will definitely have time to read everything you need before the action begins. The final dialogue in the “Beware of the Car” quest has been fixed. The final dialogue in the “No Entry for Outsiders” quest has been added. We also love when quests have a logical conclusion. Balance: The damage from ranged attacks of Armorscorps, Stingbellies, and Corpse Eaters has been reduced. The accuracy of Corpse Eaters and Armorscorps has been reduced. The logic behind the growth of characteristics for high-grade equipment has been altered: bonuses for reducing weapon mass and impulse have been significantly cut in favor of more useful s...Read full article on Community Announcements (ЫСЯЧА ПТИЧ)
