About the Game
Lootbound: take risks, build your squad and create your build
Every run starts with you alone.
As you move across the map, choose a route that leads to valuable loot. Along the way, you will meet companions who will help you fight this difficult battle!
Team and equipment
You need to collect a separate set of equipment for the hero and each companion.
Items do not have fixed slots. You can rotate them and place them in the inventory as long as there is free space.
Item auras
Items become truly powerful when they start affecting one another. Some items have auras that strengthen weapons or armor in adjacent cells.
Sometimes moving an item by a single cell is enough to change the entire build.
Companions and abilities
In combat, you control only the main hero.
Companions act on their own. They already know what to do...
Create the final GUARDIAN
At the end of each biome, you choose one of two boss parts.
Each part changes the Guardian's appearance and power. After completing all biomes, you will have to face the final boss.
Risk and reward
Some rewards in Lootbound cannot be obtained just like that.
In special rooms, you are offered several options with different difficulty levels. The more valuable the reward, the harder it is to obtain with a dice roll.
This is Lootbound...

Lootbound Is Part of Steam Party-Based RPG Fest!
Hey adventurers! We have another good piece of news:Lootbound is part of Steam Party-Based RPG Fest! And honestly, it feels like a pretty good fit for the game.In Lootbound, everything starts with your party. You build a team of heroes, choose abilities, look for synergies, decide who gets each item, and slowly turn a group of characters into a build that either destroys everything in its path...or completely falls apart in the next room.WHAT TO EXPECT• Turn-based combat with a full party• Different heroes with their own roles and abilities• Synergies between characters, items, and skills• An inventory system that sometimes feels like a puzzle of its own• Route choices and party progression throughout every run• Plenty of loot, experiments, and decisions you may regret laterSteam Party-Based RPG Fest is a great excuse for us to show Lootbound to more players who enjoy building a party and seeing how far that team can go.If you have already played, tell us about your favorite heroes and builds. And if you have been watching Lootbound from the sidelines, now is a great time to check out the game and build your first party.Thank you to everyone who keeps playing, leaving reviews, and helping us improve Lootbound. We’re at Party-Based RPG Fest.Time to build your party.Read full article on Community Announcements (m1vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.)AnnouncementsOfficial

Lootbound Secret Update is Here!
Hey, Community! You asked why our characters are facing away from the enemy - so we actually made an easter egg 👀 Our team created this secret animation in literally one day. During your hero’s turn, press a button on your keyboard or controller for a 10% chance to trigger it… And no, we’re not telling you which button 😏 You’ll have to figure that one out yourselves. Also, we’ve made a few improvements: - Lootbound now works while minimized or when the window is not active - Fixed issues related to different screen resolutions Thank you for all the jokes, memes, and feedback that helped us turn this into something real. We’re glad you had fun with it, and we’re already working on bigger updates and new content based on your feedback! More cool stuff is coming soon ❤️ Thank you for playing Lootbound! Lootbound Patch Notes 1.1.7
We’ve been closely following your feedback, and we know that randomness has been a common pain point for many players. We’ve made the item selection mechanic more fair and predictable. You can now choose to get one common reward, or roll the dice and take a risk for a chance to get something better 🎲 We’ve also rebalanced Difficulty II, making it slightly more challenging to better match the intended difficulty progression Additionally, we’ve fixed several minor bugs and made improvements to the game’s overall stability We’re continuing to improve Lootbound, and your feedback plays an important role in that process. Thank you for your continued support! ❤️ Have feedback or suggestions? Join our Discord and share your thoughts with us 🚀Read full article on Community Announcements (Penguin)AnnouncementsOfficial
Why do they keep staring at you?
We’ve gone through your feedback. We adjusted the balance. Tweaked the bosses. Shipped a patch. But there’s still one very serious problem.Far too many of you have been asking:‘Why do the Lootbound characters keep staring right at me?’Alright..... It’s time to reveal a secret screenshot from development :3Now you know what our heroes look like from behind ;)Jokes aside, we got surprisingly many questions and comments about this. And no, it isn’t accidental. The fact that the characters look at you and sometimes literally address the player is part of the world of Lootbound. You can even notice it in some dialogues, where the heroes aren’t asking someone inside the game, but you.Now you know a little more than you should. Thanks for all the feedback since release. We read everything you write, try to reply, and sometimes even drop by to chat in person. If you want to contact us directly, ask a question, leave feedback, or just talk about the game, join our Discord:https://discord.com/invite/artdockWe’ll keep working on Lootbound and making the game better together with you.See you in battle. And yeah... now try not to think about the fact that they’ve been staring at you this whole time xDDDRead full article on Community Announcements (m1vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.)
