    Changes, demo state, news

Hello fellow pigs! 🐷How's going? How was the summer? Today I'd like to share with you some plans for the end of 2026, what to expect, what changed, what news will be. Visual updateThe more I was working on a project, the more I started to notice that in attempt to achieve realistic picture style, the game visually just became too grey and neutral. I believe it was still alright visually, but not the best it could be.After playing for some time with colors and tones I think we got the best result now, where game looks alive, juicy and vibrant. Please keep in mind, it was not a graphical update, only visual. I just played with color palette. It means that it has 0 effect on performance or system requirements. (at some moments it felt even faster lol) You can find quick comparison below:Demo versionI really want players to get 100% best possible experience and content right from the first start of the game/demo. That means, since we have visual update, demo version will get it too! Also, not only visual update, but it will also get some other updates stuff I already changed in full game version, such as: newest UI, some extra bug fixes, QoL, couple cut scenes adjustments and new intro cut scene (with cart). So, if you're new player or want to revisit the demo while waiting, check this post later September or early October. I comment this post when it's updated. New screenshotsSince there is visual update and game has more content developed and in development, I finally have some new materials to show. Hence, the Steam page was updated with jaw-breaking new pictures. When finished reading check them out on Medieval Pig store page! (or below)New trailerSince so much new cool stuff going on, which we discussed in this post and not only, it is time to drop a new trailer! Trailer will be released either in October or in November. Buckle up! Jaws will drop! Another post will be created when trailer date is settled and when it actually released.Stay tuned! Let me know what yo...

    Development update #2

Hey there, humans! 🐷Long time no see! How’ve you been? I’m doing great, thanks! I’ve learned how to fish, grew a majestic mustache, and I’m still wandering around the Middle Ages.Anyway, here’s what I’ve seen on my travels:I kept exploring this medieval world. I saw a tavern, a castle, an "MFC" cafe, a smuggler’s hideout, a library, a church, and all kinds of other stuff! There are still some empty spots on the map, but the local workers are busy hammering away, building new things.I learned how to fish, because you can’t just live on venison forever. I also learned how to row a boat to cover long distances. Oh, and I learned how to chop cabbage to the beat of the music!I met some new locals: stone golems, skeleton mages, and battle roosters. Also, I enjoy lootin' stuff so much now that every time I pick something up, I’ll be oinking loudly and sharing some deep thoughts...Speaking of thoughts—once I’m done exploring the world and meeting everyone, I think I’ll start relearning how to swordfight and block. My old tricks won’t impress anyone anymore.Check out these cool random photos I took at the very bottom. I’m gonna show them to the family back at the farm. Family—give me an oink in the comments!I think I’ll finally get a camera and record a video soon to show you how things are going here. With love, Your Pig!

    Development update #1

Hello everyone! It's pig! Oink! 🐷Last update here was back in July, so I decided to keep you posted on what's going on. Slowly but steady I keep developing the game. It is not forgotten and never will be. Some days I write dialogues, some days I do level design, some days I implement new stuff. So I decided to share some things with you. Hopefully I will do these more regularly from now on. So:-controller support confirmed and ready at 90% mark (not for demo, sorry)-4 new locations/towns/whatever you call it are ready (level design wise)-quests for them are also ready written on paper.A quick view at one of the locations is on the screenshot. (I will also add pizzas on the roofs...hehe)Next update I think I will show other locations and describe them briefly to understand what to expect! Oink! 🐷
