Nyassembled! challenges you to build modular mechs and strategize in real-time battles, all while navigating an ever-evolving landscape filled with surprises from K. N. Factory.

About this game

Obtain a certain item in the deepest level of the dungeon. The goal is simple, but the path is unpredictable!

Modular Mech

This machine, called CAT, has a structure that allows its parts to be freely interchangeable; only one core module is absolutely essential. Show your originality. Remember that each pilot cat has their own strengths and weaknesses.

Simultaneous Turn-Based Battle

In Nyassembled!, the actions of all units are commanded in advance, and then they act simultaneously. The key to victory is anticipating your opponent's actions.

Procedural Generation

The world map and battlefields are randomly generated. Build your strategy on the fly.

Other Features

Various modules and skills
The combinations of CAT modules and pilot skills are endless.

Destructible environment
Every object can be destroyed. Let your cats run wild. The more they destroy, the more bonuses you get.

Objects with care
Battlefields are filled with objects that can affect the outcome of a fight. How you use and handle them is where your skill comes into play.

Fog of war
It's hard to deal with threats you can't see. The same goes for the cats you play against. You can gain an advantage by spotting your opponents first and launching a preemptive strike.

Replay and log
Don't worry when a lot of things are happening at once. The powerful replay and log feature gives you a complete picture of what happened.

Carrier
If you can't win with CATs alone, you can support them directly with special functions and items installed on your carrier.

Story

In the distant future, a long time has passed since most of the human race was wiped out on Earth and the Moon. The very few survivors live quietly in a small city in a remote corner of the world, entrusting their existence to the control of computers, in perpetual stagnation without progress or decline.

You are an information technology expert living in such a city.

At the request of an acquaintance, you have been searching for her missing cat. You followed his footsteps through electronic records, which somehow led you to an abandoned server no longer in use.

There you found a mysterious virtual world, a playground for electronic cats. Putting aside the purpose of your visit for the moment, let's play with them using CATs.

    Update 0.11.23

We are currently reworking the automatic control and NPC AI processing. In this update, drives now support automatic control; they can be automatically turned on or off based on conditions such as their destination, CAT's status, and whether or not they are engaged in combat. Modifications Added support for automatic control of drives. Added support for automatic control of Optimization E-10% and Optimization E-40%. Reduced the rendering load for backgrounds, particularly in lower layers. Changed the Attack CAT build in the DPS simulator to ensure a better balance between damage types. CP increased by skill effects is no longer affected by CP modification based on motivation. Bug Fixes Fixed: CAT status isn't updated when toggling Over Drive on or off. Fixed: Area-of-effect attacks performed via skills do not cancel cloaking states. Fixed: In some cases, the displayed field of view for an enemy may differ from the actual field of view. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45493307/0de8f774390fa3a33468f09f0a5c8a3588cf959d.png

    Update 0.11.22

Instructions for NPC CATs are composed by AI during the command phase, just as they are when controlled by a player. Each CAT has its own distinct behavior policy, and we improved processing because some CATs were failing to respond appropriately to certain situations. Additions Prevented CATs with Lone Cat from intruding battle and added dedicated CATs for intrusion instead. Added extra effects to M.Core - Dream and M.Core - General. Modifications Changed the behavior of drones for reconnaissance purposes to prevent them from engaging in combat excessively. Improved how CPU-controlled CATs react to environmental heat levels. Adjusted the in-combat movement of CATs equipped with a Guideless Light or a Bullet Timer. Bug Fixes Fixed: Compressed Explosion fails to function when weapons with an AoE radius of 1 are combined with Compressed Explosion and Blast Radius +1. Fixed: CATs equipped with storage modules can leave a playfield under unintended conditions. Fixed: CPU-controlled CATs in a dangerous area might stop moving. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45493307/c7b2cf65a313e9656802b69dd5533966ba0a1279.png

    Update 0.11.21

Since NPC CATs were not effectively utilizing the modules and skills added in recent updates, we have reviewed and expanded the CAT list. Some of the new CATs will not appear within the 1-8th layers, which are currently implemented. Additions Module: Burning Fist is a melee weapon that triggers a small explosion upon impact. Module: Stellar Breath is a high-power flamethrower for the late game. Module: Flier Buster is an auto defense module that fires guided missiles to intercept incoming ones. CAT: Clione, Luna Lionfish, Ningen, and 19 other models. Modifications Adjusted dozens of existing CAT models to equip previously underutilized modules and skills, focusing primarily on those recently implemented. The heat output from flamethrowers was too intense, so it has been nerfed. Bug Fixes Fixed: Data size of L-derived modules for special weapons and auto defenses was excessively small. Fixed: Parameter settings for P-derived modules of special weapons were incorrect. Fixed: If a core overheats while Optimization Cx2 is set to automatic control, the CAT menu may become unstable. Fixed: Projectiles for Remora Anchor are displayed incorrectly. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45493307/3291887897bd4ad1ec36611281a75bd232c25f15.png

    Update 0.11.20

We have implemented a new mechanic for negative heat levels. Modules whose heat level falls below 0 will be disabled for 1 second, and all their defenses will be set to 0. For CATs that haven't warmed up sufficiently yet, Ice Howitzers have become a weapon that inflicts a powerful debuff. Additions Negative heat levels have been introduced for modules. Module: Frozen Bit is a cyber weapon that lowers the heat level of a module it hits. Module: Null Ray is an optical weapon that lowers the heat level of both itself and a module it hits. Module: Promethium Burner is a flamethrower usable in the mid-game. Modifications The impact of environmental heat levels on modules has been halved. Consequently, the parameters for modules and objects that affect environmental heat levels have been adjusted. Bug Fixes Fixed: When the round progress speed is set to anything other than x1, some particles move at unintended speeds. Fixed: When a decelerating projectile enters the Bullet Timer area of effect, it remains there for a while with its speed at nearly zero. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45493307/41d84cbd435464ba719780a0829c53e1fcaa1fbf.png

    Update 0.11.19

A flamethrower has been implemented as a new weapon type. Available in the early to mid-game, it is categorized as a ballistic weapon featuring rapid fire, short range, low accuracy, and high thermal-type damage. Additions Module: Celosia Flamer is a flamethrower that spews colorful flames. Skill: Missile Splitter splits a missile into three, at the cost of halving the damage and tracking performance of homing weapons. Skill: Treasure Hunt improves the quality of items dropped when destroying objects such as boxes. CAT: Sakura Shrimp is a small CAT equipped with a flamethrower. Regarding existing CATs, Fox Fire has been modified to be equipped with one. Others Passive skills that cost 0 CP and have no drawbacks are now set to "ON" by default in a battle immediately after being learned. Dialogue lines for allied pilots during events have been expanded. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45493307/199468b6cbc1a012a4e5b63c96c85ed6e7baa6a5.png
