Embark on a chilling adventure where your skeletal form becomes both ally and obstacle. Work together to solve puzzles, find missing organs, and escape the horrors that await in Skeleton Hell, a free-to-play indie game by Triple Calavera set for release in 2024.

About this game

Skeleton Hell is a cooperative horror game that takes place in the depths of a underground sanctum where the player's skeletons have been imprisoned. Players must work together and use their bones in order to find their human organs and reclaim their mortality.

In their skeleton state, players are able to employ unique abilities to throw their bones or thow one another in order to solve puzzles and progress through the sanctum!

Throw your bones! 🦴

As a skeleton, bones are your currency. Use bones to interact with the envrionment, distract enemies and give other players a helping hand. However you must be careful. Bones are also your livelihood - the more you lose, the closer you will be to death! 🦴

Avoid deadly enemies! 🦑

The skeleton hell is filled with deadly enemies, each with their own behaviours and patterns. Avoid these monterous creatures as you journey through hell - otherwise you might just end up back in the cell you started in! 💀

Find your heart and reclaim your humanity! ♥

In this game, each player must find their heart hidden somewhere in the procedurally generated sanctum. You will have to search every corner of the small dungeon to find a heart - your ticket to the overworld. If you are feeling generous, you can even communicate with your friends and help them find their own hearts (if you are so fortunate to have found your own). You may also sabotage them and lead them into dangeous traps while luring them with the promise of a heart 😈

Once everyone has a heart and is ready to escape, you must quickly ascend to the top of the dungeon before time runs out. Do you have what it takes to survive?

The Game Awards ceremony is just around the corner, and Geoff Keighley was eager to meet The Skeleton from Skeleton Hell, who emptied their schedule for the week to meet him! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Gd5W7OUXEAAgVtV?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 Geoff offered a nomination for GOTY, but The Skeleton wanted to leave an opportunity for the other games to win, and rejected it. Thank you, regardless! And to everyone that has played Skeleton Hell, thank you for your support!

Patch #3: Finished Achievements and Difficuty Tweaks! (Bonus: Skeleton Hell 101)

A Message of Gratitude from the Triple Calavera Team! First and foremost we would like to thank everyone again for trying out our game! Skeleton Hell is the first game that the Triple Calavera team has put out, and while it is not without its flaws, it was an incredible learning experience! When we initially published the game, we were not expecting anyone to play it and wrote it off as a portfolio piece project that we wouldn't touch again after releasing it. To our surprise, we actually got a few people playing the game, which we are incredible grateful for! We would like to show our appreciation for the players of Skeleton Hell with this patch to help players have the best time possible playing our game! This patch features several quality of life and bug fixes that the team decided to tackle after player feedback. This patch in no way addresses all of the issues in Skeleton Hell, but the ones that we found to be the most pressing. We would also like to take a moment to extend out an invitation to our Discord server. As a growing game development studio, Triple Calavera is eager to connect with players and learn more about how to make the best games we can that YOU would like to play.
