Step into the critical role of a baggage security operative in Airport X-Ray Simulator. As part of the backbone of airport security, you are the last line of defense against prohibited or illegal items making their way onto an aircraft or into the airport.

Airport X-Ray Simulator has a fairly high learning curve, and as such, it features a text-heavy tutorial that can take 10–15 minutes. The game’s mechanics can be quite complex, and mastering the ins and outs will take time.
In this immersive simulation, you handle checked luggage, using x-ray machines to identify potential threats. Bags come through on conveyors, and it’s up to you to spot and handle any suspicious items.
X-ray Screening: Inspect bags using an x-ray machine, identifying prohibited or illegal items.
Manual Searches: Remove bags from the conveyor and conduct thorough searches, interacting with and examining all objects inside.
Item Confiscation and Flagging: Confiscate prohibited items and flag illegal items for further action.
Substance Scanning: Utilize a substance scanner for items that are difficult to visually identify.
Passenger Information: Use your computer to check passenger details, permits for firearms or blades, and access your email.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be spending some of my development time preparing Camp Paradise for Steam Next Fest, but work on Airport will continue alongside it. Community creation preset frequency adjustments
As Community Presets are a new feature, there aren’t many available yet. This means you may encounter the same preset repeatedly. This update should make that happen much less often: - Lowered the overall chance of encountering a Community Preset. - Fixed an issue that allowed the same Community Preset to appear multiple times during a session. Thank you for your patience while I continue improving this new feature. Community Creations tweaks
- Limited the amount of firearms you can place inside presets to 1. This is due to a limitation with existing game mechanics. - Added a minimum required amount of clothing required in presets to 3.
