Join the chaos of Vietnam as part of a 50-strong team in Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. Use tactics and weapons to outmaneuver opponents in this expansive multiplayer action game.
About this game

Enter the explosive conflict of the Vietnam War and fight your way through some of the fiercest clashes in modern history. Join the battle raging across an extreme landscape of vast mountain gorges and thick jungle, where the North Vietnamese Armies clash with the military strength of the US Armed Forces. Build tunnels, fly helicopters, drive patrol boats, use historically accurate weapons and work with your team to achieve victory.

Take the battle to the enemy across 6 large-scale maps inspired by real world locations. Play as either the North Vietnamese Army or US Armed Forces and choose from one of 17 specialised roles within a 50-strong team made up of multiple squads. Join or lead infantry, recon, armour, mortar squads and helicopter units, using communication and teamwork with your fellow players to identify objectives and ruthlessly exploit your opponent’s weaknesses. Emergent gameplay features bring intensity and realism to the conflict, as players tackle each battle with authentic weapons, orders and tactics. Follow the chain of command and work together as a team to meet your objectives and achieve victory.

In the heat and fury of the Vietnam War, the battle is more dynamic than ever. New US aerial units feature fully operational helicopters for fire support and supply drops. NVA forces can build extensive tunnel networks to gain the upper hand with surprise attacks. Both sides can hunt the enemy through Vietnam’s complex river network with heavily armed patrol boats built and launched to seek and destroy. Enhanced player movement, including swimming, climbing and fast crawling, and interactions such as dragging co-combatants away from active fire to give them a chance to heal and re-engage, all adds to the immersive battle experience.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam features multiple distinct gameplay modes pitting players against each other in epic 50 vs 50 multiplayer battles. Warfare mode is a 50 vs 50 tug-of-war style confrontation where two teams fight for control over 5 sectors. Offensive breaks down the opposing forces into an attacking side and a defending side. Alternating new game modes mix up the gameplay parameters to maximise the battlefield experience. This is as immersive as warfare gets!

Community Feedback #5 | Command Post
Welcome back to the Command Post.Since our last Community Feedback update, Update 1.5 has arrived, bringing the officially licensed Bell UH-1 Iroquois ‘Huey’, the M14 and Type 56 SKS, our first weapon balancing pass and 100+ fixes and improvements. This was followed by Hotfix 1.5.1, which introduced further improvements to ADS visual stability, mounted weapons, UI, and controller haptics for the M14 and SKS.We’ve been closely following your feedback throughout the first week of Update 1.5, and have been pleased to see the positivity around the new weapons and the Huey Radio in particular, and that the M16 ammunition changes have also been welcomed as a direct response to previous community feedback.Alongside that feedback, we’re continuing to investigate several of the issues you’ve been reporting, including spawning and deployment failures, audio reliability, crashes, Server Browser visibility and visual quality. Here’s where things currently stand.Spawn & Deployment IssuesWe have see your reports surround spawn and deployment issues, including HQ spawn points disappearing, Garrisons and Outposts becoming unavailable, and some players being unable to select or place spawn points.Following investigation, the team believes it has identified an issue within the game’s replication system that could be contributing to several of these behaviours, and are working on fixes including one we’re hoping will be added into our next Hotfix 1.5.2.In some circumstances, certain information was not being correctly cleared when a match ended. Over multiple matches, this could increase the likelihood of elements failing to replicate correctly, including HQ spawn points and potentially other objects within the environment.A fix has now been implemented internally and is undergoing QA verification. Because this underlying issue may be connected to several different reports, we want to complete that testing before confirming exactly which problems it resolves. The fix is currently planned...Read full article on Community Announcements (Ben B T17)Patch NotesOfficial
Hotfix 1.5.1 | Live Now
Hotfix 1.5.1 is now live on all platforms. This patch includes improvements to ADS transitions, controller feedback, mounted weapons and UI.Aim Down Sights (ADS) TransitionWe’ve overhauled how visual elements are managed when entering ADS. Previously, players could see shadows flicker or pop, asset LODs change and other visual elements shift when aiming down sights.Hotfix 1.5.1 keeps elements within your view in a more static state during the ADS transition, helping create a cleaner and more stable image when acquiring a target. This improvement benefits all platforms and forms part of our wider work to improve image quality and visual stability.M14 & SKS Controller FeedbackVibration and haptic effects are now available for the M14 and SKS across all platforms, resolving a platform-agnostic issue affecting these weapons.Mounted GunsImprovements have been made to the smoothness of movement when using mounted guns, with further improvements planned for a future update.HUD/UIThe boat nameplate now displays the correct icon.Next Up: Patch 1.6Work is already underway on Patch 1.6, and we’ll be sharing more details on what’s included soon.Make sure your game is updated before deploying.Read full article on Community Announcements (Ben B T17)Patch NotesOfficial

Community Feedback #4 | Command Post
Welcome back to the Command Post.Over the past week, we’ve continued reviewing your reports and feedback from across Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, while the development team has been working through another round of fixes and improvements.Since our last Community Update, we deployed Hotfix 1.4.2 addressing several community-reported issues around stability, audio, VOIP, DLSS and more. We’re also now preparing for Update 1.5, which is planned for next week, bringing further fixes and improvements alongside the arrival of the M14, Type 56 SKS and the officially licensed Bell UH-1 Iroquois ‘Huey’.This week, we have updates on AMD, tutorial progression, spawning, console image quality and several other areas you’ve been discussing. As always, please continue sending us your reports. The more information you can provide about what happened, your platform and how an issue can be reproduced, the easier it is for the team to investigate.Top Community Reported Bugs & IssuesAMD Stability & FSR 4.1AMD stability remains one of our key areas of focus, with Hotfix 1.4.1 specifically targeting improvements for affected players. We continue to receive reports of crashes and driver timeouts from some players using AMD hardware. While recent updates have improved stability for many users, we know that some crashes remain and the team is continuing to investigate their individual causes.Previously, we announced that we were looking to target the introduction of FSR 4.1 for Update 1.5. As development has progressed, we’ve made the decision to move FSR 4.1 to Patch 1.6 whilst we continue prioritising overall AMD stability. We know this may be disappointing for some of you, but we want to reassure you that FSR 4.1 is already in active testing. Our priority is to ensure it can be introduced without compromising stability, and we are looking to bring it to the live game as soon as we’re confident it is ready (which could potentially be before our Patch 1.6 target).Status: AMD Stability Investigatio...Read full article on Community Announcements (Ben B T17)
