About the Game

Do you have what it takes to grow your Post Apocalypse Courier Service (PACS) from scrappy small-timer to best in the wasteland?

  • Deliver parcels with up to 4 players for exciting online co-op gameplay, and earn your place in the post-apocalypse

  • Drive through extreme weather and treacherous terrain

  • Scavenge on foot or wheels to survive and repair your equipment

  • Customize your vehicles with engines, wheels, batteries, drivetrain, bodywork, and more!

  • Package parcels, manage your inventory, and be strategic with transport space and materials

  • Wear a company issued respirator at all times

(Surviving in this post apocalypse requires a route and a plan)

Accept delivery orders from the last holdouts of humanity, and customize your vehicle to ensure you and your crew will get there mostly unirradiated.

Package carefully! Cargo can be awkwardly sized, explosive, or even radioactive. We wouldn't want any incidents!

(fulfil the apocalyptic miracle of a package delivered on time)

Cracked roads and overgrown trails dot a treacherous landscape between you and a happy customer. Navigate apocalyptic terrain and weather while keeping packages safe and secure.

Drive in a convoy with friends, or barrel through the unknown alone—do whatever it takes to deliver, get paid, and survive another day.

(postie progression)

Scavenge what’s left of the world on foot or wheels for parts to upgrade your vehicles, increase your delivery capacity, and search for supplies to survive.

Explore and expand your service to new zones with exciting challenges, but don’t forget to slow down and smell the radiation (WARNING: All smelling must be through company issued respirator masks). The varied terrain of the apocalypse can be beautiful, if you catch the smog with friends at the right time.

300,000 Wishlists & The End of Our Closed Beta - Post Masters Update #12

300,000 wishlists! The population of Pittsburgh, Venice, Belfast, or Cusco. An incredible number of people, if you really think about it. We're humbled by the attention and sincerely thank you for believing in our game. Our Closed Beta ConcludesA massive thank you to everyone that jumped in to test PACS over the weekend! Over 15,000 unique couriers played, and not only played, but took the careful time to leave us detailed feedback which will help us guide PACS into the game we know it can be. We've got lots of specifics to talk about in future dev diaries, but right off the bat -- know that we're going to be working especially hard in improving multiplayer stability for Early Access. This was an unfortunate frustration with our apocalyptic couriers! What's Next? We'll continue with regular developer diaries to showcase the development of PACS, and how we're making decisions based on your feedback. In the meantime, the best way to connect with us is via Discord, where we'll share developer sneak peaks and ask you for your thoughts!

    A massive thank you!

A massive thank you to everyone that jumped into the game for the Closed Alpha! PACS is our studio's first original game, and seeing 2000+ people in the alpha is quite frankly, mental to us. We have lots of feedback to review, so thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts in the feedback forms, and we'll address how we're actioning on your feedback in a future development diary. We appreciate that for many of you the experience was... quite buggy, especially in multiplayer! We are working hard to improve issues around crashes and save/load of sessions, and other technical troubles that prevented folks from having the most fun possible with PACS. Sincerely, thank you for breaking our game.Luckily, lots of the awesome ideas you folks have been sharing line up nicely with many of our plans for the game going forwards, and we can't wait to show you the improvement the next time you play! Thanks again! See you in game again soon™Don't forget to join us on Discord! - Studio 316 & Playstack(how many of you found our special playtest banana-mobile?)

Post Masters Update #10 - We’d Like You To Break Our Game

Announcing the Multiplayer Closed ‘Please-If-You-Could-It-Would-Be-Nice-If-You’d-Break-Our-Game Alpha’ Test, scheduled for June 17!Hello couriers! We’d like to invite 2,000 of you into the world of PACS from June 17 - 22 to help us break our game. You read that right! We’re looking to test the early game experience of PACS, and our multiplayer connectivity at scale. The best way to achieve those two goals is to encourage you to drive PACS like you own it. That is to say, into the ground, preferably as chaotic and disorderly as possible. That isn’t to say we don’t want you to have fun! We’ve implemented your feedback since our last series of boutique technical tests, and we’re feeling great about the world of PACS. There’s still more work to do, and we can’t thank you enough for taking the time to play and give feedback on our game.To sign up for this Multiplayer Closed Alpha test:Register directly on SteamWe’ll randomly select users from this group until we hit 2,000 players! Those 2,000 players will be able to invite 2 friends eachIf selected, on June 17 play, and have fun! Once you've played, join our Discord, and fill out our end-of-game survey! Our Progress on PACS Vehicles: Heavy Duty Truck & Small HatchbackLike Goldilocks and the bears, sometimes you’ll want a big vehicle, sometimes a small vehicle, and sometimes something in-between. We’ve been expanding the vehicle lineup within the world of PACS, and while still in-progress, wanted to show you where we’re at:You know what they say about bigger vehicles? Bigger tyres. You’ll be able to mix and match depending on terrain type and personal preference… World & ThreatOur world is also more dangerous than ever before. Not only are storms and radiation more frequent, but the environment is properly aged with the apocalypse, requiring careful planning to move packages through. Lastly, our world now also has a reputation system. Bring the correct goods on time and undamaged, 5/5. Take a little too long because you wer...

Post Masters Update #9 - Tough Trucks & Technical Testing

What Have We Been Up To?Hello couriers! Recently we’ve excitedly gone through a series of technical tests with a random selection of courageous souls who’ve signed up through pacsgame.com, and are helping us make PACS the best game it can be.These tests have been incredibly helpful as we look at what we want to accomplish with this game and the quality our team wants to hit when we release into Early Access.Because of this, we’ve made the difficult decision to move our big Closed Playtest out of the first 4 months of 2026. The game just isn’t where we want it to be. When we run this Closed Playtest we want to make sure every person who’s signed up through pacsgame.com can play, and that they can invite up to 3 friends. At the moment that could be 80,000 people 👀… with so many great games on Steam, first impressions are everything. We want ours to be among the best.So for now we’re taking a step back and continuing to iterate with the courageous couriers who have become our core community (thank you). We’ll likely be randomly inviting more people to this core group from pacsgame.com, so keep your ever-watchful apocalyptic eyes peeled. What You FoundWe wanted to share some feedback we received from our technical tests so far, and our current ideas around that feedback.Vehicle RecoveryShockingly, PACS is a game where your vehicle can get stuck… a lot. Since the primary enemy is the environment, we found couriers routinely launched themselves off cliffs or got stuck between some trees or just took a turn too fast and ended up on the reverse side of sideways upside down.Getting stuck is part of the game, and we want that process to be fun. Our testers told us that after the 10th time, this wasn’t, in fact, fun at all. Balancing around vehicle weight and handling should help, and we’re also considering other recovery mechanics to help balance this out.DrivingAs a game with the core concept of driving from place to place across an apocalyptic wasteland with your friends, w...
