In Signal Lost, you must fight system failures and screaming alarms by typing precise commands. Your only hope is Venus as the pod begins its descent. Will you complete your journey or succumb to the void?

About this game

SIGNAL LOST is an anxiety-driven multitasking game where you need to keep your pod operational to survive space after the destruction of your cargo ship, 'Dear Abigail'.

In a constant battle of "Man vs. Machine", react quickly to time-critical system failures and malfunctions to give yourself a chance to complete your journey to Venus and the base of Omphalos-1.

DASHBOARD MULTITASKING

Managing the ship's interfaces means you don't get the luxury of dealing with one problem at a time—something always blows up in your face. Learn to juggle competing tasks and system repairs while malfunctions and meteors interrupt your plans.

TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE

Every task takes time, and another one always awaits. All compete for your attention as systems continue to deteriorate. You won't find time to rest when every repair is a chance to keep breathing for just a few more seconds.

ALONE TO VENUS

Venus has been your destination this entire time, so you keep drifting toward your one hope in your metal coffin. Through a cold computer screen, the Captain's voice occasionally breaks through, guiding you as you push onward. Not quite company, but better than complete silence.

How close can you get before the pressure and isolation break you?

In Signal Lost, you will…

  • Immerse yourself in the role of a doomed astronaut.

  • Carry the sole responsibility of your survival through the vastness of space.

  • Repair systems and complete tasks in a constant battle against time.

  • Experience the tenacity of the human spirit in an inhospitable universe.

  • Discover the cost of fighting for your hope.

So, will you manage to reach the relative safety of Venus and Omphalos-1… or will you die trying?

    Demo Update

Hello everyone, These last few months we've been very busy. Working close with our play testers (friends) and implementing a lot of polish and desired features into the game. We've updated the DEMO for SIGNAL LOST with the latest internal version of the game. What this means is that what you see in the demo more accurately represents what the release of the game will look like. Some changes that the demo includes: A New Tutorial We've implemented a new Tutorial section into the game. The overall flow has been improved, it should be clearer and easier to follow along. Audio Overhaul A big chunk of audio has been updated with new and improved sounds. Module Visual Update We updated the Modules section with improved visuals. However, this is still not final. Quality of Life and Bugfixes There have been tens of small additions to UX, UIs and overall bugfixes for the game. Localisation While the demo currently includes only Greek & English, the final version will have a multitude of languages to choose from as you can see in the Store page. We're currently looking to see if we can support more languages for in-game text. You will additionally be able to add your own custom translations and dubs to the game with a simple drag and drop system, which we will talk about further when release approaches. What's Next? We're still working on a few things, like an updated Steam page with new screenshots, descriptions and a new trailer. The game has been effectively completed for about two months now and we're making changes to improve the overall experience, wherever possible. We're excited to say that we will soon announce the release date for Signal Lost. If you encounter any issues or want to share feedback, make sure to post it in the forums and we'll make sure to read it. Thanks and have fun, Team Ironflow.

    Quality Of Life Update

Hello Spacers, I'm Dimitris (The second one) once again. First of all I would like to thank all of you for your valuable feedback, it's important that such things are heard and passed down to us. I took the time to read through the recent forum posts on the SIGNAL LOST DEMO. Thus, we've added the following requested Quality Of Life features listed below. 1) Intro Skipping You can now skip both the main intro & the game intro by pressing (E) - an appropriate visual indicator now appears in the bottom right corner of your screen at all times (only during the intro cinematics). You can press E at any point in time between the start & the end of the two intros, no limitations as to when you decide to skip. 2) Reduced Intro Time Game Intro & Main Intro have been greatly sped up. I've reduced a lot of the timers to half their time & removed some entirely. 3) Quitting back to the Main Menu through the in-game menu now instantly loads you back to the main menu. 4) Dying in the demo now instantly loads you back to the main menu as well. 5) Fixed a bug that wouldn't let the demo properly finish. (If this bug appears again (hopefully not) to anyone, they should join our discord and seek us) 6) Fixed a small visual bug that would make the endless mode computer screen to display text far smaller than it should. I would like to also clear up some confusion. If you happen to finish the tutorial section and then happen to lose on the second half you'll be given access to an extra main menu option called "CONTINUE" which allows you to pick up the game right after the tutorial section finishes. Finally I would like to mention that if you happen to have found any bugs or wish to ask any questions about the game you can find us on our Discord, don't be shy - we don't bite. Demo Update Pass 2

Hello Spacers, I'm Dimitris (The second one) once again. The second pass update for the Demo is finally live and in time for Steam's Next Fest. We've included some community feedback and more features into the Demo as well as bug fixes. Interaction Highlighter : Now when you hover your mouse over an interactable object there will be a blue rim indicator around the object (similar to when you select a repair module). Task Execution Feedback : Now when executing a task there are 2 visual feedback components. First, a "Executing Task" bar that loads and indicates that the task is being executed. Second, a CMD feedback message that notifies you if you've successfully executed the task, if the command is invalid or if a module system malfunction prevents the execution of the said task. New Sound System :With this update we've paved the way for adding special surrounding sounds which can only be heard when focusing on specific parts of the escape pod. This will be expanded to add a whole array of spatial ambience around the escape pod. From computer hums to machine beeps and bleeps. Currently the Radar is the only module to use this system. (We're planning A LOT with this). Fixes/Small Additions: - Changed the Voiceline & Dialogue from the task execution sequence from the tutorial : ("You have to input the code on it's screen") to a far more clear and understandable one. - Resized the Captain's HUD so the text is more clear and readable now. - Fixed a bug that caused the full screen mode feature a white rim around the screen. - Fixed a bug that caused some weird module interactions. - Added particles to the power module. - Fixed endless mode. - Added Epilepsy warning at the start of the game. - Fixed a visual bug present in endless mode So what's next for Signal Lost? Behind the scenes I've been busy adding new systems and revamping a lot of the game's older systems to prepare it for the release version. Due to time constraints I haven't been able to add all of the valuab...
