but he gets caught up in unforeseen events...
'GENSEI SUIKODEN' is a classic top-down RPG. While it serves as a sequel to the 'GENSEI' series released on the Japanese DS, its story is entirely standalone, making it accessible to newcomers as well.
The game offers an average playtime of around 24 hours, which isn't overly long, but it compensates with a variety of hidden events, mini-games, and secret pathways. These features ensure that each playthrough can feel fresh and exciting, providing new experiences every time.
The core gameplay revolves around navigating 2D maps, gathering information in towns, clearing events, and progressing through the unfolding story. As you move through the maps, you'll encounter enemies, and when battle begins, the screen switches to a side-view format. The combat system allows you to use both regular attacks and special moves freely, making it easy to win battles.
