  Five Laps at Freddy's - Beta Update 08/14/2024

  We have been working round the clock to fix the Five Laps at Freddy’s demo. We appreciate your patience! We have launched a new BETA branch for the demo on Steam. Access the build by entering “ExoticButters” in the Demo’s properties under “Betas”! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45132938/96078d48facc8d95cee8efbd48c3ea943508ba22.png If the community finds that this build is relatively bug free then it will be promoted to regular demo release. Then we will work on addressing everyone's game play suggestions, implementing the ones that make sense. We truly appreciate all the constructive criticisms we have received. This BETA update includes the following... CHANGE LOG Fatal crash corrections Collisions on Midnight Motorist's highway, making the kart fly through the map, triggering the "Out of border" event and therefore triggering the "WAKE UP!" crash Soft locks in Sinkhole when being reset where the road separates into 3 ways Soft locks in Sinkhole in the last lap's road Resets that could cancel the current lap Endo icon that could stay when stunning the Endo right before the nightshift ends NPCs going into the off-road zone in Midnight Motorist Fixed soft lock in Sinkhole where you could get reset on the third loop without the magnetic effect Added "Restart Race" Button in the Pause Menu Fixed UI Screen Ratio Issues Increased Revert/Brake speed, so reverting should be easier when getting stuck (Reverting is still slower than throttling!) Added a visual effect to the Invincibility State of the kart KNOWN ISSUES Issue with placing at end of race different then your pole position number when crossing finishing line Double Boost glitch (braking at the end of the boost can extend the boost) Dynamic Camera is behaving incorrectly when upside down Getting reset right after crossing the finish line can skip the lap (I just managed to reproduce this on Sinkhole) Crossing the finish line while the off-road timer is on, and getting reset can cancel your lap NPCs can get caught on the envir...

  Five Laps at Freddy's Demo is Live!

  Welcome to Five Laps at Freddy's Don't forget to wishlist! https://store.steampowered.com/app/3078140/Five_Laps_at_Freddys/ Clickteam is VERY excited to have you try the first early demo of Five Laps at Freddy's. We have been working on it for a little over 2 years and we hope that you enjoy our little labor of love. This is a single player build of the game. As this is a early build please note that their are some known issues which have reported below and we expect that you will find some issues as well that we missed. If you do have something you wish to report, either a bug or suggestion, please visit the discussion board for FLaF here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/3078140/discussions/1/]FLaF Bugs & Suggestions The objective of the game is to complete 5 laps with your chosen Kart and Animatronic. Currently we have 3 Karts and 8 Animatronics to choose from. Each selection alters your base stats of Speed, Acceleration, Weight, Handling and Suspension. While you compete on your selected course the in game clock ticks away. Once 6pm arrives the race shifts into Night Shift. Please note after 6 pm for reasons unknown drivers experience a drain on their batteries. Track officials are off duty between Midnight at 6 am. During this time a Endoskeleton will spawn and attack the driver with lowest battery and highest pole position. If the Endo catches you be prepared to loose your collected "Glitched Powerups" and be set back in the race. When 6 am comes again the Endo vanishes and the game continues as normal.
