In Reality Drift, navigate through unpredictable tracks and make crucial decisions that shape your race. Choose upgrades and relics to outmaneuver competitors, blending strategy with speed in this 2026 indie action game from Arganoid Industries.
About this game

Drive through a series of strange worlds, racing to be the first to deliver packages to obnoxious godlike creatures who have nothing but disdain for you. At the end of each track, choose between three options for a new track - you'll decide based on your stats and the linked upgrades being offered.

Some missions include roguelike deckbuilding, where you have a deck of cards which have effects while drawn. In addition to upgrading your car using the core stats, you'll choose new cards to add to your deck.

Winning in Reality Drift is as much about making the right choices as how well you drive. Will you lean into ACCEL and MAX SPEED, or will you try to go for a GRIP build where you never have to slow down? Choices are made in real-time so you only have a few seconds to decide! In addition to the core stats, extra powerups are often available including REGEN BRAKING, BOOST, SHIELD, ANTIGRAV and NAVIGATOR. The computer-controlled cars follow the same rules as you and choose which upgrades to obtain, but only you can choose what the next track will be.
As you win races you'll unlock a total of 26 missions, each with its own twist on the formula. Winning all races will unlock New Game+ where the difficulty will be raised and your mastery of the game will truly be tested!

This is a major update to the demo from last year, with two new missions and many improvements. To try the new version, make sure you switch to the beta branch via the demo's properties menu in Steam. If you have any problems or feedback, the best way to let us know is via our Discord server (link on the game page and in the demo), or by responding to this post.Note that the beta of the demo has not yet been fully translated into French and Ukrainian, but other languages should be working correctly. We expect the final version of the new demo to be fully ready in about a week or two.Read full article on Community Announcements (Arganoid)Patch NotesOfficial
Feb 2026 Update!
Hi dudes! We're still hard at work on the game, and we've also been demoing it at various events in the last few months. Most notably, we were at EGX last year, where we had the honour of meeting Hornet, from Hollow Knight: Silksong. If you're in Yorkshire, UK, this week the game is available to play at the Yorkshire Games Festival in Bradford. This is the full version of the game as it stands right now, which includes many new elements and mission types. Technically you could play through the entire game from start to finish, although you'd have to be there a long time to do that! We've been working on new designs for the roguelike deckbuilding cards, and we're about to start work on a new trailer - keep an eye out for that! Follow us on Bluesky for updates!Read full article on Community Announcements (Arganoid)
