Our next game is coming out soon!

The release date has finally been decided! We’re thrilled to announce publicly that Den-Den: Tokyo Horror will be released to the entire world on October 12, 2026. It’s been two years since we released Water Delivery on September 18, 2024. Water Delivery was our first “real game”. Before Water Delivery, as some of you are already aware, we spent nearly two years making small games in Fortnite. After Water Delivery was released, the very next day in fact, our team sat around a table and decided what our next game would be. It only took us a few hours to decide. None of us expected the game would take two years to make. Our hope is that Den-Den: Tokyo Horror will be unlike anything you’ve ever played before. While it takes inspiration from games such as Pathologic, Resident Evil, Bioshock and The Elder Scrolls - its unique mixture of dynamic horror and immersive sim game design come together to create something we feel truly stands apart from all other games on the market today. On October 12, 2026 - you as the player will be able to discover if you possess the courage and determination to make it through this intense, eight hour, horror experience. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45100604/fa98d7877d2a21d7acda059894a6f9f3aa4463ca.png We wouldn’t be here today without the support of our fans and community. Thank you for being on this journey with us. Den-Den: Tokyo Horror is a game that was made for you. While waiting for the experience to begin, please take a moment to enjoy our latest trailer and wishlist the game on Steam. Sincerely, Frozen Lake Software Dev Team

    Dev Log #1 | DEN-DEN: TOKYO HORROR

https://clan.fastly.steamstatic.com/images/45121180/16eca361b3862b495217927e59b5cc89679c92de.jpg Greetings! While the temperature may be hot in Cebu right now, fret not, for our hearts are as cold as the frozen throne which intombs them. Rainbows and butterflies don't make for good inspiration in the highly respected field of "Horror Game Development", or so they say. Today, I’d like to dive deeper and share more details with everyone regarding our upcoming game, Den-Den: Tokyo Horror. What is Den-Den: Tokyo Horror? If we were to remove the generalized “Horror” tag from our game, what would be left? The answer boils down into two specific (and equal) parts, Survival Horror and Immersive Sim. The term 'Immersive Sim' can mean a lot of different things to different types of gamers. Images conjured up in the mind can range from games such as Ultima Underworld to Bioshock. But there are also games such as Pathologic, which to many can be considered an Immersive Sim. Our goal with Den-Den: Tokyo Horror is more akin to Pathologic. This will be explained more over the course of our "Dev Log" series. Overtime, a picture will be painted that showcases how immersive sim game design philosophy is manifested in Den-Den: Tokyo Horror. In this game, you take on the role of an employee at an elderly care service provider in a dystopic version of Tokyo, Japan. In this world, society is breaking down as the number of senior citizens vastly outnumbers the rest of the population. There are not enough working-aged people to take care of all the senior citizens, and resources are stretched to the breaking point. To help meet the overwhelming demand, your employer is now offering caretaking services 24/7. Unfortunately for you, you’ve recently been assigned to the new graveyard shift in an area of the city that is unfamiliar to you. In addition to that, one of your colleagues has not reported to the office in several days and has been reported missing. This means you’ll also be responsib...

Den-Den: Tokyo Horror - New Game Announcement!

Greetings fellow Horror Fans! We are thrilled to announce to you all today some information about our next upcoming game! Welcome to the world of... https://clan.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/images/45121180/16eca361b3862b495217927e59b5cc89679c92de.jpg Den-Den: Tokyo Horror Den-Den: Tokyo Horror is an open world, survival horror experience where you play as a caregiver for the elderly. Each night for one week, you must navigate the dark streets of Tokyo, choosing where to go and whom to care for. Not everyone can be saved. Manage your limited resources, which are needed not only for the sake of those dependent upon you, but also for your own survival. Time is not on your side, and the people have been cursed by something evil. How many deaths will be on your watch this week? Roots Back in the old days of our studio, when we were creating games inside of Fortnite, one of the games we created was called Den-Den: Tokyo Horror. At the time, it was one of our most successful games we had made in Fortnite. When we were originally making it in Fortnite, we kept thinking to ourselves how awesome it would be to make a full game out of it. We were so limited with what we could do inside of the Fortnite toolset. Fast forward into the future, and here we are as a studio after the successful release of Water Delivery. Once we finished development on Water Delivery, we knew it was time to go back to our roots and recreate the original concept of the idea by turning it into a fully fleshed out gaming experience using Unreal Engine 5 for release on Steam. Influences Den-Den: Tokyo Horror is inspired by a combination of many influences. Firstly, we have a deep love for J-Horror movies such as Ju-On, Noroi: The Curse, Ringu, Onibaba, etc. Secondly, we have a passion for the Immersive Sim genre of games. Games such as Pathologic 2, Bioshock, Prey, Dishonored and Deus-Ex. Lastly, we love the Japanese survival horror genre of games, such as Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Dino Crisis and Fatal...
