About this game
Void Collector is a speedrunning FPS with a unique weapon-switching system, focusing on tightly designed stages that can be replayed over and over again to get faster and faster.
USE A LARGE ARSENAL OF WEAPONRY
Utilize a variety of powerful weapons with many different effects. From a powerful, knockback-inducing shotgun, to an uppercut that sends you and your opponents soaring, to a middle finger that fires an immensely powerful laser, there's an ideal weapon for any situation.
MASTER THE SYSTEM
Press 1-5 on the keyboard to toggle each finger of your hand on or off. This adds a layer of difficulty that allows for a ton of deep skill expression and clever tactics.
FIGHT A TON OF ENEMIES
Blast through a wide array of enemies. From the projectile-shooting Gunther to the bomb-placing Steve Strike, these guys are sure to keep you on your toes at all times!
MANAGE YOUR RESOURCES
Attacking drains your JUICE meter, but defeating enemies gets some back! There's also a combo system, which rewards skillful play with more Juice to use so that you can pull off impressive skips! But be careful, playing too recklessly will leave you open to attack!
BECOME A VOID MASTER
Each stage has a target time to beat to test the most skilled players in their weapon-swapping and rapid movement abilities! Void Collector focuses on a high skill-ceiling to ensure it's fun to play and replay over and over again!
COLLECT DOODADS
Each main stage has a hidden piece of 'memorabilia' to collect. Find them all to understand the history of the mysterious Void Collector and those who hunt it!
ANYONE CAN PLAY
Includes multiple difficulties to give some breathing room to new players and truly challenge seasoned veterans. Also included is a simplified control scheme, ensuring that anyone can enjoy!
The game sports a loose, wobbly artstyle with a jazzy soundtrack to match.

VC Version 1.2 is Here!
Hey everyone, I've got a small update for you all! - Added a Version Number and Full-Game Timer in the bottom left of the screen - Added an "Enemy List" in THE HUT area of the hub world - Fixed several sound effects that were mapped to the incorrect sound channels - Slight UI Tweaks - (Hopefully) Reduced the frequency of the Crash that impacts 3-2, 3-3, 3-A, and 5-1. I'm still working on a concrete fix but I wanted to get the full game timer and other features out a bit quicker. Thanks for playing!Read full article on Community Announcements (Seff)Patch NotesOfficial
Void Collector V1.1 - Bugfixes and Tweaks
Hey everyone, thank you all so much for the support on Void Collector’s launch! Here’s the first update, bringing a batch of bug fixes and slight adjustments. Changes Some enemies would fully refill Juice when hit into the deathplane. This was unintended, but is pretty fun so all enemies now grant a full Juice refill upon hitting the deathplane. Some enemies gave inconsistent amounts of Juice back upon taking damage, this has been standardized. Adjusted 5-A’s Goal Time to 35s Adjusted Location of Cuboid in 1-1 slightly so he could be knocked off with the double barrel Widened activation box on the surfboard Bugfixes Fixed Incorrect Textures in a few small places throughout the game Fixed an issue where 5-A’s goal time in the mastery menu was incorrect Fixed several cutouts in the tutorial stages that had inaccurate health values Fixed an issue where Bat would stop attacking if you stayed close to him after getting hit Fixed an issue where train doors wouldn’t be gimme-able Fixed an issue where voidspawn eggs wouldn’t be gimme-able Adjusted Final Boss to hopefully resolve an issue where certain machines wouldn’t count the final boss stage in the end mission results Made changes to hopefully reduce crashes when restarting levelRead full article on Community Announcements (Seff)
