Small Humiliations, Big Hammer
Greetings, forge gremlins, Alright. This one was a pile of small humiliations stacked like cursed socks in a wet locker. Systems pretending they worked, tutorials holding you hostage and names duplicating like cheap counterfeit coins. Bad for business. So I grabbed the hammer and did what I had to do. Fixed Fixed the Autarkic trait so it now works "properly", even if the whole "temperament of ethnic aggression" thing is still… questionable. Fixed Workshop saves so they no longer store incorrect values and older saves with cursed Workshops should behave normally again. Fixed the reputation bonus affecting Workshop thresholds so it’s actually positive. Shocking concept. Bonuses now help you. Fixed Workshop thresholds in the Judges panel so they correctly reflect bonuses. The Judges still judge you, but at least with correct math. Fixed a softlock in the Alchemy tutorials. No more cursed magic homework. Fixed Kingdom name assignment to avoid duplicates. One kingdom, one name, no cheap knockoffs. Fixed the reputation tutorial lock when the map is already open. Changes You're now allowed to place the same order twice. Your choice. Forge names no longer require capital letters. Lowercase is officially Guild-approved. If anything still breaks, report it in-game, on Discord, or by email: hello@clevertrickster.com Complaints are cheap. Reports make money. If you’re enjoying the game, drop a positive Steam review. It feeds the algorithm, keeps the Guild calm, and yes, it’s good for business. Now go sell. More orders = more upgrades = more efficiency = more coins = more beer. This Bug Cost Me Beer, So It’s Dead
Greetings, forge gremlins, Yeah. That one many of you reported: the "newly bought pattern you can’t even select unless you poke the filter like a drunk judge" bug. Annoying, embarrassing and absolutely awful bug for business. It fought back like a cursed sock on a campfire torch. We finally found the bastard. Smashed it flat. You’re welcome. Fixed Newly purchased patterns no longer become unselectable until you change the filter first: you can now buy a pattern and select it immediately, like a sane person. If anything still bites, report it in-game, on Discord, or by email: hello@clevertrickster.com Complaints are cheap, reports are profit. If you’re having fun, drop a positive Steam review: it feeds the algorithm, keeps the Guild off our backs, and yes, it’s good for business. Now go craft. Then go sell. The Case of the Vanishing Golden Forge
Greetings, forge gremlins, Yeah. Oops. We upgraded Unity, fixed a few things yesterday, and accidentally taught the Supporter Pack a new trick: making Golden Forges disappear. Magic. Bad magic. That one’s on us. Hammer applied. Problem smashed. Fixed Fixed an issue where Golden Forges from the Supporter Pack could disappear in-game after the latest update. No more vanishing acts. Your shiny forge stays where you paid for it. Now go back to forging. And keep your gold where I can see it. If anything still looks cursed, report it. Complaints are noise, bug reports are profit. If anything still breaks, report it in-game, on Discord, or by email: hello@clevertrickster.com. If you’re having fun, drop a positive Steam review: it feeds the algorithm, keeps the Guild off our backs, and yes, it’s good for business. Cursed Text, Cursed import, Cursed Me
Greetings, forge gremlins, Two days after launch and I can already hear the complaints stacking up like rusty nails in a beer barrel. Complaints are bad for business, ahem... so I grabbed the hammer and did what the Guild pays me for (they don’t, but let me dream). Here’s what got smacked into shape. Now read. Then go make coins. Fixed Prevent the game from freezing in Simplified Chinese: nastier bug than it looked. We had to upgrade the Unity version, then re-test the whole game. It should be solid now. Sorry to our Chinese players, nothing personal, just engine cursed text magic. Clean up localization mistakes, especially Spanish: yes, we accidentally shoved Italian into Spanish, totally our fault, totally embarrassing, totally fixed, plus a few lazy untranslated titles got kicked into line. Fix the missing Workshops tooltip: it’s back, it talks, it stops pretending the button is "self-explanatory". Prevent the Workshops loop from resetting itself: the machine wanted "creative freedom", I gave it "do your job". Keep the reputation tutorial marker from hiding the objective: no more UI playing peekaboo while you’re trying to make coins. Show the reputation value in ranking descriptions: because "trust me bro" is not a number. Align the kingdom bonus value display between the Kingdom panel and the map ranking recap: the bonus "convert gold from quick sales to the Guild into favors" now shows the same value everywhere. Thanks to our lovely Discord goblins for catching it! If anything still breaks, report it in-game, on Discord, or by email: hello@clevertrickster.com. Complaints are cheap, reports are profit. If you’re having fun, drop a positive Steam review: it feeds the algorithm, keeps the Guild off our backs, and yes, it’s good for business. Now go sell. More contracts = more upgrades = more power = more coins = more beer. Yours "faithfully", DagrimaRead full article on Community Announcements (Clever Trickster Studio)
