A vampiric Victorian otome about love and lost time...
Determined to make her own destiny as she turns 18, the young head of her family Lucie plunges headfirst in the conniving world of business dealings. Before she's able to seal the deal on a revolutionary treatment to vampirism, her business partner suddenly dies. Lucie finds herself embroiled in the middle of the mysterious death of her former partner and an event from a decade prior...
Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea: Amaranthine Moon is the otome standalone sequel to Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea, a Victorian vampire visual novel previously released in 2021. This visual novel is set around 5 years after the events of the first visual novel, following Lucie as the main character. You don't need to play the first game to enjoy this tale.

Lucie has the choice between 3 different men her age to spend her time with and fall in love together. You'll also have the chance to get to know them before deciding who to be with.

The cure to vampirism works because Lucie uses it on herself—decide whether she should keep using it to stay human or stop and become a vampire again.

Not only do the love interests have multiple endings each, but the way the story plays out will change depending on if Lucie is a vampire or a human and on your other choices throughout the narrative.

The latest version of Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea: Amaranthine Moon is out now! There were several things we wanted to add to the game but didn't get around to before release that we've worked on afterwards, as well as some bug fixes that came up once more people got a hold of the game.This 1.1 version includes:a new side story in the Extras screen (unlockable after completing at least 1 ending)a new CG on Cecil's routevisual consistency updatesminor line tweaksminor bug fixesThe artbook was also updated to include this new CG!FAQThe game won't launch after the update!Steam sometimes installs updates incorrectly, resulting in the game being unplayable. Please open the game files (right click the game -> Manage -> Browse local files) and delete the folder called cwesam (not cwesam.app). This should make the game playable again. You may have to reinstall it afterwards.How do I open the artbook?The artbook is a PDF that installs on your computer. Version 1.03 - Bug Fixes
We have a few bug fixes now live that will affect a handful of players, most notably if you:go to Rowan's manor on Day 5are presented with a choice at dinner on Day 5There were a couple of bugs present at these scenes which made it harder to get on certain routes depending on how you played the game prior. These bugs have now been fixed, but you may have to restart the save file and skip to these sections to get the correct routes you are pursuing.* If you are running into issues launching the game, please check that your graphics card hasn't updated recently. There are issues with updated OpenGL graphics cards and the Ren'Py engine.
