YOU are a hunter; a man or woman of wealth and leisure who has turned their time to hunting the fiendish monsters that assail humanity. Human greed and inhuman evil clash when a chance encounter sets you on a trail which leads from the brightly-lit streets of the Capital to the depths of the untamed wilderness. What horror lurks in the roiling mists, and can YOU find a way to stop it?
A choose your own adventure novel in which your choices and actions can lead you to glorious victory...or ignoble defeat. Explore an original story with three challenging game difficulties, unlock hidden lore to better understand the world you enter, and enjoy the artwork you discover in the gallery.
This independently produced novel features a dark soundtrack (with optional atmospherics) by Cryo Chamber, as well as over 40 unique page images to unlock.
Combine your ancestral Heirlooms with the Traits system to customise your Hunter before taking on the horrors which await you. Wyrmwood is the latest and largest entry in the Hunter's Journals series, with close to 1000 unique entries, some of which require specific combinations of choices to reach.

Unity Version Update
Unity has posted that a security vulnerability exists in all builds as far back as Unity 2017. As such all Grindwheel Games titles are being updated to Unity 6 to remove this loophole. Wyrmwood Launch Discount!
Hello again all. After a short delay due to settling some details, the Valve team has applied a 30% discount to Wyrmwood which will last for the next 14 days. That will effectively simulate the launch discount which I should have put in place. This is in addition to the missing dollar on the base price, which will remain off until December as promised. So, thank you very much for your patience, and again I am sorry for the delay in the price adjustment. Wyrmwood Pricing Issues Apology
Hello all. As some of you may have noticed, we messed up the pricing and launch discount for The Hunter's Journals - Wyrmwood. And when I say we messed up, I mean I messed up, as this is pretty much a one man show so there is nobody else to blame in this case. I forgot to check the price of the package before launch, which *should* be $5.99 in line with our other games. I also forgot to make sure the launch discount was in place before hitting 'launch'. Now that the game is out, it cannot be discounted for a period in the Steam settings, so that's not great. The current plan is as follows: The price will remain at $4.99 until the 1st of December, when it will be raised in line with the other products. I have contacted Steam to ask if they can apply a 'launch discount' through the back end for me, and we'll have to see if that pans out. I'll keep an eye out on the message from Steam to see if the price will drop, and I'll count the current price as essentially a long 'launch discount' of a dollar until December. I can only apologise again for the mixup, and I am very sorry over any confusion this issue will cause.
