Зима укрыла этот город снегом и тишиной, но за стенами "Отделения 38" жизнь продолжается… хотя и не для всех. Александр, обычный студент, оказывается здесь не по своей воле — его жизнь неожиданно оборвалась, и теперь он должен пройти через бюрократические лабиринты загробного мира. Здесь, среди старых кабинетов и пыльных архивов, его ждут странные встречи, необъяснимые события и выборы, которые определят его дальнейшую судьбу.
