About this game

When you finally quit your dead-end job and move back to your mother's house in the ever-peaceful town of Faybourne, you think things could only get better. However, the moment you set foot in your childhood home, a harrowing nightmare long forgotten reappears to haunt you once more.

A tower that crumbles in the vastness of a bleeding sky. A voice that mourns and yearns for something.

Nothing could have prepared you for what awaited you behind that door. Nothing and no one could have warned you of the danger you would be in if you returned to that town.

You wouldn't have listened.

Torn away from your peaceful life and thrown into a world of danger and deceit, you are at the mercy of the Seven Sovereigns of Limbo, almighty gods that have sworn to be your protectors...as long as you prove yourself useful.

As the consequences of a plan set in motion long ago start to unveil, will love be the key to your freedom, or the first chapter of your downfall?



FEATURES

✩ Seven love interests with individual routes
Each one in different stages of their lives, bound by the gift of immortality, and offering diverse kinds of romances. Choose between a first-love kind of romance or a mature, passionate experience with no strings attached.

✩ Customizable protagonist
Choose your first name, last name, and pronouns (she/her, he/him, they/them). Take the reigns of your own life and approach every choice however you want. Be bold, be kind; be reckless and passionate or play your cards carefully and with a cool mind.

✩ Multiple endings
Your choices affect your romance with the characters and their personal growth and personality. Your decisions impact the world around you and build different outcomes that will decide your fate and your loved one's.

✩ A wide variety of choices
Lost in Limbo has different point systems to give shape to your experience;

• Trust Points centered around your Love Interest
  
• Plot-driving choices that will shape the story and its possible endings
  
• Personality choices that will determine the nature of the MC's relationship with the LI, as well as how the MC reacts to certain events
  
• Flavor choices! These don't impact the game directly, but are there for the main objective of the game: having fun!

In Lost in Limbo, there's not only one correct answer and one wrong answer. There's different ways of earning trust points without having to stick for the "one and only right answer", and mistakes can be redeemed...sometimes.

  Another year, another Storyteller's Festival we have the pleasure to join thanks to fellow devs at Two and a Half Studios! ✨This time, our entry comes with a new patch, patch 2.0.4! Albeit it's not a big one, we've introduced one of our most awaited mechanics; the voiced name system.Upon starting a new game for the first time after this update, you'll encounter a brief tutorial when clicking the "voiced names list" button. Our beta testers as well as the backers who added a voiced name to their order when our Kickstarter launched received this build early—the overall feedback was that they wanted the voiced names to play even more! This final version includes a few more voiced names lines; perhaps not as much as everyone would like, but in some instances either the available takes didn't fit the occassion, or the name was in the middle of a sentence, or the line was already voiced.Voiced names will be available for purchase via our Patreon really really soon! Sadly, the android version will have to wait a little while. 🔮 STEAM (MAC, LINUX, WINDOWS) 🔮 ITCH.IO (MAC, LINUX, WINDOWS) So...what's new? ⭐New sprites have been implemented! This includes the gallery selector assets aswell! ⭐Patch notes now available! Every time you download a new update, a pop up with the new changes will appear.
