  Spoiler Free Game Guide

  Hey there detectives, First of all, we'd like to thank everyone who played the game so far. SJ: Twin Lakes is a game that is modeled after the classic LucasArts adventure games. This can be seen in the puzzle design and the general progression system. We basically took a pixel hunting experience and updated it for the modern 3d systems. This also brought on the classic frustration of missing some small item and being unable to progress. At launch our goal was to reward exploration and encourage organic discovery by the players. After getting the some post-launch feedback we are now exploring options to expend the in-game hint system and perhaps add more features. For now, however we've created a spoiler-free guide for people who are stuck and would like to simply know the answer.   Get ready for the mystery!

  Hey there detectives, We are proud to announce that the game is out today. Demo is also available today. It covers the first beat of the story and should give a pretty good idea on what to expect from the rest of the game. This is the first of the Sammy Jukes series. We are going to continue the series with new cases and improve upon each entry with your feedback. Please don't hesitate to share your thoughts on the game in the discussion pages and elsewhere. We are currently working on a few quality of life updates right now, and will be for the coming few months. We hope you guys enjoy the game. We sure did enjoy making it!   New gameplay video is here and the demo is coming.

  Hi there sleuths! We are excited to show you our latest gameplay video. This is the final look of the game. We hope you guys like it. Another piece of good news is that the demo is almost ready. The demo will cover the first few beats in the story. Since the game is open-world and non-linear, we had to think hard about how to create a demo that will showcase the game but won't give it all away. Our solution was to allow the player to traverse around half the map and talk to half the characters available. That way you can play until the first big reveal in the story but won't be able to follow some of the leads you get because the map is closed. Overall it should give people a pretty good idea about how the final game will work. Also since this is an Unreal Engine 5 game with Metahumans, Demo will be a great chance to test your system and see if your rig can handle the game. We look forward to sharing our story with you.
