About this game

Little-known Pennylooter fact: it actually started as an anti-anti-cheat software that would be installed into other games in order to allow cheaters to cheat even with the presence of normal anti-cheat software. It is unknown why developers would use both, but it does explain why many games have anti-cheat software and still suffer from cheaters. The theory is that developers commissioned a man to create Pennylooter as a method to make money from both sides. Unfortunately, everyone lost when the developer of Pennylooter had a vision while on a retreat to Harrisonville, Missouri that foretold of a great cosmic collapse that would cause waves of vertiginous hysteria to any poor soul who dared lay eyes on digital pennies, and so he did the only thing he could think of: abuse our desperate need for dopamine in order to collect every pixelated penny in existence by turning it into a virtual adventure - of sorts. It is a game, but it's also sort of a concept, a way of life, a phantasmic defense against the thin veil between our reality and the one composed of angelic whispers and hellish cries. A gift basket, a rogue-lite, a vogue-right; it is woe betiden. It is all we have left.

Pennylooter's got all this cool stuff check it out:

BOSS FIGHTS

Work your way through all 12 bosses, with two difficulty modes just in case you feel like they're going easy on you.

REGULAR FIGHTS

Between the boss fights, you'll have to contend with multiple waves of enemies. As you progress, you'll find yourself confronted by more of these ugly creatures, but do not strife! Collect the pennies they drop and you can use them to buy guns, food, and items that give you special abilities.

EXPLORATION

Seven different biomes, each with their own unique enemies and surprises. Watch out.

FROGS

There's frogs.

    v1.1 Update

Hello, it's The Developer again. Just passing by to drop off some shiny new items and irrefutably glamorous bug fixes. Get ready to have your socks knocked on (I do NOT want to see your feet). Defibrillator SandwichYou've never had a sandwich this good. Gain an extra life for each one you eat. Finger CreamGently apply this lotion to your fingers in order to fire automatic weapons more quickly. Disclaimer: makes it harder to aim.Dice PowderWe crushed up and ground some dice until they were fit for consumption. Take a sip of one of these and you'll never feel the same again. Reset ButtonPress this little button on the back of your head to start back at the first wave, but with all your items and abilities intact. Totem of RollingNobody's really sure what this is, but we've found that if you swallow it you can roll further than normal. We recommend chasing it with some mayonnaise. Small Changes & Bug Fixes Greatly improved performance when there's lots of enemies and/or explosions Fixed an issue that could cause the player's inventory in a saved run to become corrupted when new items were added to the game Small fungus enemies now burst into spore clouds when they collide with the player Fixed Blinker enemies damaging the player immediately after spawning UI appearance should be more consistent across different devices/resolutions/aspect ratios Progress for the achievements Slippery, Untouchable, Very Slippery, and Completely Untouchable was not saved when exiting the game during a run Taking damage during a boss fight no longer affects progress for the achievements listed above Made it easier to blow up shop doors Changed the font for damage particles and made them enabled by default (they can still be toggled off in the settings) Auto-reload works when playing on mouse and keyboard now Lowered the required stats for a few achievements Added a sound effect when Remmy Ribbit jumps Fixed a minor issue with the RNG
