About this game
After a series of unfortunate events, you find yourself surrounded by an ice-covered wilderness. Isolated from the rest of the world, you must rely on your own wits and limited resources to survive these harsh conditions in this Sandbox Survival in VR.
Your main goal is to stay alive, but how?
Build your Base: Build a shelter to escape the frost and replenish vital strengths. Enjoy the freedom and construct it however you like. Warm up, protect from wild animals, wait out a snowstorm, store resources, and craft needed equipment there.
Tools & Weapons: To survive and fully exploit your surroundings, you will need a variety of tools. Every tool and item has its purpose and durability, which determines how long it can be used until it breaks.
Hunt, Craft & Gather: Hunt wild animals to gain food and resources. Collect items to craft tools, weapons, or clothing necessary for survival.
Surviving isn't easy. Strategizing your moves is crucial to staying alive. Complete essential tasks during daylight and be aware of the darkness, as nighttime brings lower temperatures. Weather conditions are unpredictable and change dynamically, so always be prepared! Explore a huge map, but remember that not every place is safe; some may be inaccessible based on your current gear.
Survival isn’t just about staying alive, it’s also about staying sane. How do you keep your humanity in this frozen hell?
In Frost Survival VR, you must take care of not only your physiological needs, such as hunger, thirst, and keeping yourself warm, but also your mental health. If you neglect it, reality may start to blur with illusion. Fake sounds and creatures will make survival even more challenging. But beware - some figments of your imagination can harm you!
Try to survive alone or cooperate with others in a multiplayer experience.
Do you like playing alone? Don’t worry, there are some uncovered secrets scattered across the frozen wilderness that will help you endure. Or you can work together with other players: gather resources, insulate your shelter, and defend against threats like cold, hunger, and dangerous animals. Shape your survival sandbox experience your way!

Survivors, it’s time to get creative!We’ve been seeing more and more of your builds lately, and honestly - some of them are way too good to just disappear in a Discord thread. So we thought… why not turn this into something bigger?And so, we’re kicking off a new community event in Frost Survival VR focused on one simple idea: Build your own Hunting Lodge.What is a cool, one of a kind Hunting Lodge? Well, it’s entirely up to you! Maybe it’s a small, cozy shelter hidden in the forest. Maybe it’s a fully equipped hunter’s base with storage, tools, and a good view of the wilderness. Or maybe you go all out and make something completely unexpected - we’re here for it.How can I take part in the competition?Once your Lodge is ready, grab a few screenshots or record a short video and share it with us on our Discord (use the dedicated channel: Hunting-lodge). This is where things get fun - the whole community will be able to vote for their favorite builds using the “🏹” reaction.No complicated judging panels - just pure community (and our team’s!) choice. After the voting wraps up, we’ll pick the three Lodges with the most support. Hey there, Survivalists!Today, we wanted to take a moment to talk about the next update coming to Frost Survival VR and give you a clearer look at what we’ve been working on behind the scenes. That said, let’s cut to the chase. The spoken update focuses on three main goals:giving players more control over the world around them and their playstyle,adding more atmosphere to the world, and improving overall quality of life.While this isn’t a massive overhaul, it’s an important step forward that makes the game more flexible, immersive, and more comfortable to play. These changes also improve replayability, giving you new ways to experience a fresh adventure.The new way to start your adventure - Custom ModeThis is the biggest gameplay-related addition in the update. Based on your suggestions, requests and ideas, we’re introducing Custom Mode - a new way to play the game that lets you adjust, change or even completely disable many of the core mechanics.Perhaps you might have thought to yourself, "I like Frost Survival VR, but the temperature drops too quickly for my taste" or "I'd rather explore than worry about my character’s sanity." Small Patch: Changes in fire-related structures
Hello Survivors!❄️After the latest update, we’ve received some feedback that the fire goes out - and it does quite quickly. The initial design was indeed that the fire should eventually go out, but we know many players had gotten used to the earlier version. We always listen to your feedback, so we’ve decided to make it easier. That's why we prepared a small patch for you: Changes in fire-related structures🔥 🔹Slightly increased amount of fuel that items add to the campfire. 🔹Highly increased amount of fuel that Flax, Wooden stick add to decorations' fire, also now you can refill fuel using coal (that adds 100 minutes of burning to decorations).
