About this game

Embark on an action-packed adventure in Dungeon Rampage, the ultimate revival of the cult-classic online multiplayer dungeon crawler! Team up with friends or stand alone as you fight your way through monster-filled dungeons.

  • Choose your champion from a roster of unique heroes. Each hero has distinct abilities, weapons, and play styles. Whether you prefer the Berserker’s brute force, the Vampire Hunter’s cunning traps, or the Pyromancer’s elemental mayhem, there’s a hero to unlock for every type of player.

  • Level up your heroes to upgrade their abilities and customize your loadouts! With hundreds of different weapons to equip, you can fine-tune your build to match your strategy.

  • Rally with up to 3 friends or match with players from the community and tear through dungeons teeming with deadly traps, ruthless enemies, and hidden treasure!

  • Recruit a pet to join you on the battlefield and watch them destroy your enemies in your stead: take your pick between rhinos, wolves, dragons and more!

  • With procedurally generated dungeons, there is endless replayability. Face new challenges every time you play, from massive boss battles to cleverly hidden secrets.

  • Play the game just as it was, with quality of life improvements! Originally released on Facebook in 2012 and shut down in 2017, Dungeon Rampage was doomed to disappear when Flash was officially discontinued, rendering the game unplayable and leaving its 8 million player base without a home. We’re restored the game and are modernizing the original experience as we are working on polishing and expanding the content.

See you in the dungeon, rampagers!

Dungeon Rampage is coming out of Early Access on November 2026!

Rampagers,Dungeon Rampage 1.0 is coming before GTA 6!When we first teased about the EA launch, we said we would launch the game before GTA 6 and by the looks of it we are also heading out of Early Access before GTA 6.This has been a wild ride. We have done a lot of crazy things like porting the backend to C# and making the game be 16:9 instead of 4:3 and more all whilst in Early Access. And for 1.0 we are going even BIGGER:- Fully Performant Dungeon Rampage (Using Starling for rendering the game with the GPU instead of the CPU like it currently does)- HD Dungeon Rampage (Heroes, Pets, Enemy Models, Props, Attacks, Projectiles Animations, UI) - HDifying the original graphics!- Achievements - Native Controller Support- Pyromancer & Dragonknight- And more… Some sneak peaks we have shared on our Discord:

Modern Backend, Better Loot! Update #14

The team is working on a ton of exciting things for the 1.0 release, but much of that won’t roll out until then… In the meantime, we do have some changes that we are pushing live right now. We have rewritten the entire backend from old PHP to modern C# and this patch fully rolls it out! You’ll see the server finishing interactions like buying items faster than before, but this won’t impact the game inside dungeons. This also rolls out a change that makes weapon types drop at predetermined values instead of being fully random. So now, you have a 50% chance for a bow, or a 50% chance for a katana instead of each weapon sharing the same drop rate (including shared weapons like the swords or the scrolls). Drops should feel more normalized relative to the Hero opening the chest, (eg. hopefully you won’t be opening 7 swords in a row on the Ranger anymore.) Here are some other miscellaneous changes and fixes we are rolling out that we’ve backported: Added visual glow to Map Nodes that show how populated a level is at a glance‘Play with Friends Only’ toggle remains on between levels instead of needing to re-select it every timeTraining Point notification will disappear from the Town Menu Icon if your currently equipped hero has spent all their points, even if you have other heroes that have points to spendFixed a bug where mana values for scaling attacks were not being calculated properly with weapons that had reduced mana cost traitsThe store has new weapons rotated in for purchaseClients now connect over port 3074 instead of port 80 by default. If you’re having issues connecting you can try out the feature flag --use-fallback-socket-port We’re now disabling the experimental branch and moving all of our experimental changes directly to the live client! We have exciting announcements and updates coming soon, but I can’t spoil any of it here! Keep on kicking *** and stay tuned!Love,The Dungeon Rampage Team

Dungeon Rampage is going from a Revival to a Remaster!!

Rampagers,We have heard your feedback and we are finally excited to announce that.... Dungeon Rampage is going from a Revival to a Remaster!! Here’s what 1.0 will look like:Fully Performant Dungeon Rampage (Using Starling for rendering the game with the GPU instead of the CPU like it currently does)HD Dungeon Rampage (Heroes, Pets, Enemy Models, Props, Attacks, Projectiles Animations, UI) -HDifying the original graphics!Achievements & Native Controller SupportPyromancer & DragonknightAnd more… What happens in the meantime? We’ll continue releasing minor updates and fixes through the 1.0 launch. If we have a tech feature like Starling Rendering or Native Controller Support ready, we’ll try to launch those early. On the development side, you might be wondering “have things been slower lately?” Well we’ve been changing our development philosophy. Our previous monthly content cadence was difficult to maintain with our team size. We wanted Dungeon Rampage to feel like a live service game, but we didn’t have the right resources to support it, so it ended up just slowing us down. Going forward any content or feature additions will be tied to major game updates. We believe this is better for the long-term health of the game, and it’s closer to how other similar games in our genre operate. Our goal as a team is unchanged: keep Dungeon Rampage running forever, and make it the best game we can. Let us know what you think of this change, and let us know what you would want to see more of from Dungeon Rampage in our feedback form: https://forms.gle/brL3wdLFj35q97PL9 We hope you see you in the Dungeons, The Dungeon Rampage TeamSide Note: No, this isn't an art change as some people have been worried about, this is the same work we have done previously with the main menu where it's the exact same art style, but no longer pixelated.

Patch #13 - New Experimental Client

Hey Rampagers! We are launching today an experimental client which you can access via going to Game Settings, Game Versions & Beta and then clicking experimental! What is experimental?Experimental is a way for us to make more "risky" fixes and features which may or may not make it into the game! This will sync with the live servers, so any progress you make on the experimental branch is also going to be on your main account! And you can even play with friends who are on the main version of the game (so this is a “client side only” patch)ChangesHere are some changes (please let us know of any bugs on experimental!)Changes with how 16:9 is implemented. Please let us know if anything is positioned wrongly or scaled weirdly vs the current live version. This should resolve some of the remaining scaling issues with popups.Misc performance optimization targeting Memory & Resource Leaks. This should help the game’s performance on floors past the first one of the play-session. But some of these fixes can be riskier and cause crashes!Change the game’s port to 3074, this should help those who’ve had to access the game via a VPN. If you run into errors connecting to the game let us know! If we don’t hear any issues we may make this the new default. Basically this is defaulting to use the flag we just introduced: --use-fallback-socket-port Known IssuesHovering over your friend in the bottom bar sometimes has the buttons in the wrong spotReporting BugsWe're trying out a new forum for bugs on Discord! Please make sure when you report bugs that you specify that it is properly tagged with the experimental tag
