Luthier is an action roguelike where you dive into dungeons, face off against cursed souls, and collect resources. Use these resources to craft a variety of powerful guitars, each with its own unique ability.
Battle cursed spirits and collect materials as you strive to reach the final boss in the dungeons. Acquire new skills in each dungeon.
As the owner of a guitar store, you'll not only forge and sell guitars but also upgrade your shop and character. Manage your shop, set prices, and attract customers to earn money. Use your earnings to enhance your abilities, making you a ultimate guitar hero.

Luthier Dev Blog #1 – The Journey of Legendary Guitars Begins!
Hello dear guitar enthusiasts,This is my very first dev blog about Luthier, and I couldn’t be happier to share it with you!In this post, I’ll talk about what awaits you in the game, its current state, and my future goals.Luthier is an action roguelike, dungeon crawler game set in a world where guitars are used as weapons. You play as a Luthier, a master instrument maker, who specializes in crafting guitars. The ultimate goal is to forge the legendary guitar Lucielle and use it to defeat the game’s final boss. But the path to this goal won’t be easy.To build Lucielle, you’ll first need to conquer dungeons, defeat their bosses, and gather the required materials. Along the way, you must craft guitars suited to your playstyle. Each guitar comes with two unique abilities and a distinct fighting style some swing heavy like a berserker, while others strike swiftly like a katana. On top of that, you can imbue your guitars with extra powers, such as fireballs, lightning strikes, or even a bull rush, creating your own personalized combat style.One of the most important aspects of the game is that while exploring dungeons, you’ll also choose various upgrades to create unique builds. Additionally, you can sell the guitars you craft in your shop and use the earnings to unlock permanent upgrades for your character.Currently, the game is moving closer to a playable demo. As a solo developer, the workload is heavy, but since this is my dream game, I’m doing my best to make it as polished as possible.
