In The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410, climb the social ladder and lead your dynasty to power across generations. Choose from diverse professions and shape your legacy in this deep simulation experience.
About this game
The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410 takes you back to the roots of the series, drawing inspiration from the original Europa 1400: The Guild. Starting at the head of a fledgling dynasty with only a modest business, your journey begins. As the years pass and your enterprise grows, you need to expand your family’s influence and secure a succession to ensure your legacy endures.
However, business and trade alone won’t give you a voice in the town hall. To truly steer the fortunes of the city and ensure the law always favours your ambitions, you must engage in the intricate political landscape. Use popularity, bribes, or even blackmail to climb the social ladder and secure your place in the highest offices.
In The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410, you navigate a complex web of relationships, where every decision can impact your dynasty’s future. Master the art of trade and production to build your wealth and use diplomacy and cunning to outmanoeuvre rivals. Build your legacy and make choices that will ripple through future generations. Whether through strategic alliances or open rivalry and clever schemes, the path to dominance is yours to choose.
As in every The Guild game, craft and trade is one of the core pillars of The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410. Choose from a wide variety of professions, like the blacksmith, alchemist or the tailor, and expand your business until you are the most influential magnate in the city.
Each profession offers an immersive and unique gameplay experience, putting you in charge of your business’ growth and success.
For those who prefer alternative ways to make money, The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410 offers a different, more thrilling path. Order your thugs to waylay carts, scout buildings for valuable loot, or send them to pickpocket unsuspecting citizens, and even kidnap people for ransom. The life of those who oppose the law is filled with danger but full of excitement and potential for great rewards.
Alternatively, you can choose to uphold the law and have your mercenaries patrol the streets. Protect the city from criminals, maintain order, and earn the respect of all law-abiding citizens. Whether you choose a life of crime or one of virtue will have a significant impact on your fellow citizens.
In The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410, politics is key. Securing one of the prestigious and powerful offices yourself can significantly advance your ambitions while impeding your rivals. And when necessary, a bit of blackmail can be just the tool to secure the support you need from other office holders. But beware – every criminal action you take could leave behind evidence, potentially to be used against you in court.
Get drawn into the world of The Guild with state-of-the-art graphics that complement business management. From bustling marketplaces and busy workshops to the intricate architecture of the town hall, every detail is hand-crafted to support the simulation of a realistic, historic city. Watch as new districts take shape and the landscape transforms around your dynasty, reflecting your own actions and the growth and development of the city.
Additionally, The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410 introduces a host of innovative new features to the series to further enrich your gameplay experience, while staying true to the essence and core of The Guild series, offering engaging gameplay for both new players and long-time fans.

A Week After Europa 1410's EA Launch
Hello, Friends of The Guild,It's been exactly one week since we launched The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410 into Early Access, and what a week it was! Thanks to everyone who’s played our game, joined us on our Early Access journey, and shared constructive feedback with us! We’re thrilled by the community’s positive response - your suggestions show us that we are on the right track and also point out what we need to work on to keep it that way.The feedback we received from our community is important and valuable for our team, and we are already working on our regular update for October based on what you told us about your experience with our game. In this news post, we want to tell you more about our plans for this update - but before we get to that, we also want to acknowledge the issues some of you have reported. We are preparing a minor update that will bring many fixes and improvements tomorrow, Friday, September 25th 2026.Minor Update: What Can You Look Forward To?Although the upcoming minor update is focusing on issues reported by you, it will also bring back a bee-loved feature we had to cut at the last minute from the recent release.Yes, the upcoming minor update will finally allow you to give your queen bees a cosy home again. But not only that, we have expanded the beehive gameplay, and it is no longer a building that just gives you passive income!Another new feature this minor update will include is a first version of storefront automation: you will be able to specify the target stock above which your workers will put the crafted items directly into the storefront instead of the storage. This is just another step in our journey to improve building automation, but because it is much requested, we moved it up our list.Because automation is such a highly requested topic, we will soon do an in-depth dev diary about it and how the economy works in our game. We already talked about economy in a previous dev diary, but this time we want to go a bit deeper and give y...Read full article on Community Announcements (Ashborne Games)Patch NotesOfficial
The Guild 1 Remake - Hotfix 0.4.1
We are overwhelmed and incredibly grateful for all the feedback we got since we released the game on Thursday. Thank you for sharing your opinions, your joy and - sometimes - your grief with us. We know that the build we released into Early Access included a few very annoying issues and if you can't bear to hear the line "Your cart has made it to its destination" anymore, we've got good news for you: We have released a hotfix patch 0.4.1 on SteamWith this patch, we are addressing several of the more pressing issues you have reported, like badly performing masters, hatred-inducing spam of “Your cart has made it to its destination”, balance of cart attacks and more.We also started looking into other issues, like ways for you to control the amorous adventures of your offspring to ensure only the best suitors get to be a part of your family. These improvements will be added soon in a later patch, so stay tuned. If you encounter issues with version 0.4.1 or you want to stay on the old version (why would you want to do that?), you can switch to branch version_0.4.0 that still includes the old version. Here is the full changelog:NewMajor performance improvement related to UI updates. This should help with micro-freezes, especially on the Nuremberg map.Added an action to remove a building master AI ImprovementsImproved performance of AI decision computation to fix micro-freezesNo more babies pressing chargesIncreased chance for AI to invest in quarter improvements to counter deteriorating quarter values like crime rateMasters no longer sell items (via storefront or cart) that can be used as crafting ingredients, unless storage is completely fullMasters now only use carts that are empty. This is just a band aid fix, a proper management tool to make sure masters are not using too many carts will come in a later update.Rebalanced cart attacks: Chance of AI attacking carts got drastically reduced and AI will only attack more valuable carts now and attacks won’t happen right away ...Read full article on Community Announcements (Kukurutz)AnnouncementsOfficial

Europa 1410 - German Translation at EA Launch
Seid gegrüßt!As you all know, we will release our new game later this Thursday into Early Access. Many of you asked why, when we announced that the game will be an Early Access title, we removed all languages but English from our Steam store page. The reason is simple: we can only list there what we can provide at the launch of Early Access, not what is planned for the 1.0 release. We are therefore happy to confirm that the game will have German text localization and partial voice-over localization from the start. This means (almost*) all texts are already available in German, and the narrator is voiced by the series' original actor, Aart Veder.*Please note that some texts might still appear in English. The game is in active development, and while we try to keep up with localization with each update of the game, something might slip through. The Early Access release version will have English texts in a few places where we still need to solve technical issues.Additional LanguagesAs we’ve mentioned on our roadmap, we will add more languages during the Early Access period. Currently, we can confirm French, Spanish, Czech, Polish, Russian and Simplified Chinese.Adding a new language to our game is no easy task, as every language has different and very specific rules. While we were very careful during development to make sure all languages can be added properly, a lot of testing and back-and-forth with the translators is still needed. In addition to this, The Guild is not an easy game to translate with all of its systems and its special humor. We want to take our time with every localization so the game feels right in every language. If you have any more questions about our localization process or the game in general, let us know on our Discord server or on the Steam forums!Read full article on Community Announcements (Ashborne Games)AnnouncementsOfficial
The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410 – The Road to 1.0
Dear Friends of The Guild,Next week, on September 17th, our Game The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410 will enter Early Access. Just in time for our release, we also reached another milestone of over 300,000 outstanding wishlists! A big thank you to all members of our community and fans of The Guild; your continuous support and feedback on our demo is driving us forward.RoadmapWhat is playable nowAt the start of Early Access, you can choose one of 8 different professions to open your business and found a dynasty in one of 6 different cities. Employ workers in your workshop and have them produce goods you can sell at the marketplace, or send them to provide services to your fellow citizens.Start courting, marry, and produce heirs to secure your legacy. A campaign in Europa 1410 can span over multiple generations, so the character you end a campaign with will probably not be the one you started out with.Business and family are two of the three main pillars of Europa 1410. The third is politics and society: apply for offices and climb the social ladder by befriending, blackmailing or bribing fellow citizens in important places. Climb high enough, and you’ll even get a say in the city’s construction projects - expand the city with new walls, improve its infrastructure and enact laws that make sure you always come out on top.In addition to these core gameplay features, The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410 offers many more ways to interact with the game world and achieve your goals. Which path you want to take through your journey is always up to you.The professions that are already included in the game at the start of Early Access are:SmithTailorJoinerStonemasonPriestInnkeeperAlchemistPerfumerWhile all of these professions will be fully playable from the beginning, they will receive improvements and additional features added to them throughout the Early Access period, both based on your future feedback and things that are already in development. You probably noticed that almost all ...Read full article on Community Announcements (Ashborne Games)
