  Merry Christmas!

  Halloween Update

  Welcome to Demonherd Halloween Update!We wanted to do something more than a simple patch to thank you all for all the support you are giving to our journey! We recently surpassed the 2000 copies sold and we are more than happy with the results reached by our first game!So, we have a lot to talk about! Lots of new stuff and fixes have been done... but before all that: Kat wearing a witch hat. Just a witch hat.Ok, now we can get into all the new content we were able to cram into this new update!A new quest has been added to the Manor! After beating the Boogeyman, you'll be able to obtain an item that will guide you toward this new quest... but you'll need a certain "dog" to fully start this new adventure.The quest to obtain your house in Stroheim has been expanded with new interactions and scenes! You are now able to talk to all your party inside your house... if it's big enough!15+ New scenes to discover in the game! More than 160 scenes in total.Reduced the rate of the random encounters in the whole game, boosting the general exp gain alongside it. We hope this change will reduce the amount of hate the random encounter system has and provide more freedom to explore at your own pace.Fixed some bugs related to skills and items.We still working really hard on the sequel spinoff, Demonherd Dungeon! It will be quite an ambitious project with us, being a roguelite dungeoncrawler with deckbuilding and 30 different playable characters! Thank you all for your support!   Demonherd Patch 1

  Sorry if our first patch took a bit longer than expected, we are a small team and already working hard on the next entry in the series (Demonherd Dungeon)... so it took me a while to find the time to fix stuff here! Anyway, all the most glaring bugs should be fixed with this first update!Some small bugfixed and additions to provide a bit more guidance in the first hours of the game. Fixed a bug with "Tome of Climax" giving you the Soft Shield spell instead;Fixed a bug with some collisions: Now Skuffel will no longer be able to leave the map and escape her dungeon! The goblin stays in:Fixed a bug with the Dog Quest updating incorrectly if you talk to her before doing her quest; Sadly, this fix is not retroactive so if you already encountered it you will likely be unable to properly complete the quest;Added a dialogue with an npc close to the city entrance providing some infos on the "Rock Smash Tome" location. Since it's required to the main quest progression, we agree that leaving the player to randomly stumble upon it wasn't the best idea.   One Month Later

  To take our minds off the growing fear of censorship that's making it increasingly difficult to promote NSFW products online, we thought we'd talk a little about the future of the series and your impressions of this first entry in the Demonherd Series.Before we go any further, know this: Demonherd is, first and foremost, a labor of love. These characters were born from years of role-playing with friends, and transposing their adventures into a video game is our way of immortalizing our own adventures. Speaking of love... Art made by Piutahayo for the "Best girl" Discord poll winner! (The winner was Kat, Baal just interfered as usual...) It's been over a month since the game's official release, which nevertheless enjoyed a decent run in Early Access. Reading all your comments and reviews on this, our first steps into the world of video games, has been truly incredible! Starting immediately with the criticisms, the most popular seems to be without a doubt the absence of a quest log of any kind.Having a very small number of testers prevented us from realizing how difficult it can be to remember the instructions of so many NPCs! Most of our Early Access players have been with us since the beginning of our journey, slowly learning the game by heart. Of course, when you have the entire game in your hands all at once, the situation is very different! I now find myself in a very difficult situation, because unfortunately, including a Quest Log at this stage of development simply seems impractical. The risk of breaking saves and quests is almost a certainty, making it impossible for us to implement the "easiest" solution to the game's main criticism. While we're working on a solution, one of our Discord users is kindly working on a complete walkthrough for the game! We hope this will help those who are having trouble remembering the directions for so many NPCs!A fix for this problem will definitely arrive in our first patch.
