About this game

A quirky take on a roguelike dungeon crawler, Mr Snuggles the teddy bear is trapped in an outlandish dungeon and needs to escape using whatever he can find along the way. Slightly humorous, quite strange and hopefully a lot of fun, Mr Snuggles Dungeon Adventure is a challenging roguelike game with RPG elements and unique gameplay.

NEED HELP?

The game is difficult in the beginning & might be confusing so here are some hints...

• Collect scrap by destroying crates
  
• Hit switches & collect purple crystals though beware as some switches are traps
  
• Find a teleporter once you have a purple crystal & teleport to camp
  
• At camp unlock the storeroom - top left building / Use XP at the book to unlock more items that will drop from crates
  
• Once the storeroom is unlocked any items you put into chests will be automatically stored if you complete the current level
  
• If you die anything in the storeroom will be saved
  
• Collect as much as you can & in the beginning of the game scrap it in the inventory menu to allow you to use the weapon stand
  
• Use the weapon stand in camp to get a random weapon each run, some weapons are better than others
  
• Unlock teleporter crystals, full health potions & drill (makes destroying crates easier) in the book first & stockpile in storeroom
  
• Remember the quick slots are keys 1234 & the up/down/left/right arrows on gamepad

  Mr Snuggles Dungeon Adventure is now FREE

The game was made as my first full-length game as a tester project for learning to code. I thought people would buy it and no one did so it is now free-to-play forever. It is a difficult game and controller support needs improvement however some people (I hope) will enjoy it as it is a lot better than many paid games out there I have played. TIP: Grind to unlock the store room, it makes things a lot easier and remember many items stack meaning that if you get many of the same item, it will have a better effect.

  V1.01 added HINTS page in the HELP menu

  Players told me it was bit difficult to know what to do in the beginning with no tutorial so helpful hints have been added to get you started. Open OPTIONS > HELP and the first page will be a list of tips to help you on your way in Mr Snuggles Dungeon Adventure. Also, slightly decreased player movement speed (not much) as it was requested, just remember the game is intentionally difficult, it is not a game you can finish in 1 hour, probably more like 10-20 hours. In regards to controller support, the game can be played with an Xbox controller however the game is primarily intended to be played with mouse & keyboard and is much more difficult to play with a controller The list of hints added is below destroy crates > collect scrap > use to unlock at camp items > scrap in inventory > right click menu quick slots > these help a lot > use them storeroom unlocked > store in chests > level end moved to store switches spawn other items > also spawn enemies & traps switches spawn teleporter crystals > travel back to camp unlock drill early on > destroy crates quicker unlock storeroom with scrap > items stored > next run unlock teleporter crystal & full hp potion good idea unlock weapon stand in camp after storeroom use xp earned > unlock book items > drop from crates {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45004530/7371d847ab5aa8f828d5fb6133e0af5e03c41875.png
