  Major Update 3 - The Anniversary Update: What an incredible year it has been, and what better way to celebrate it than with a ton of updates crammed into the biggest singular update in PWAG's history! Dark Deals: Occasionally you are offered a Tarot Pack in your vending machine. Opening the pack replaces your next machine with a Major Arcana Shop, which grants you access to the strongest items in the game. But these items come with the drawback of adding more foes to the enemy ranks, so use their power cautiously. New Item: Tarot Pack - Replaces next shop with tarot offering New: Tarot Card - Death New: Tarot Card - Temperance New: Tarot Card - The Devil New: Tarot Card - The Hermit New: Tarot Card - The High Priestess New: Tarot Card - The Fool New: Tarot Card - The Emperor New: Tarot Card - The Empress New: Tarot Card - The Magician New: Tarot Card - The Sun New: Tarot Card - The Tower New: Tarot Card - Wheel of Fortune Collab Update: Collab 1 - BassKnightVA: PWAG has a super serious and intense lore to the game, so to help emphasis this BassKnight is assisting by adding voice acting to the game! You will get to hear them announce the cover, intro sequence, and the true ending of the game. They are extremely talented, and hearing them voice this game has been such a wonderful experience! And I believe that you too will get to feel the gravity behind Father Garcia’s fight brought to life by their voice acting! Collab 2 - RossBoomSocks: Ross is a streamer I have watched for the past 8 years of my life, so getting his permission to add his mascot to PWAG was huge news to me. Somewhere in the park you will be able to find a drawer, where you can recruit Sockrates to aid in the fight against evil. Sockrates will somewhat function as a mix between a recruited stray animal (like the dog) and an item, in that he is leveled up via the vending machine.   Merch Store & Giveaway Raffle

  Merch Store: First and foremost, I want to be clear that this store is not for profit. All prices listed are based on the cost to manufacture and ship, with nothing going to me as the developer*. PWAG has a merch store! If you like you can grab a mug or glass for enjoying your favorite drink when the Anniversary Update comes out! There are 8 designs, each coming as a 16oz glass, an 11oz mug, or a 15oz mug. All of which are dishwasher safe. Enough about the store though, let's talk about the raffle! *My intention is to never make a cent from PWAG, and that still holds true now. I tried to set it so you only had to pay for the cost of the product, thus earning me nothing. However, the store I'm operating through has a minimum markup of 5% I can’t seem to work around. If any money does come my way, I want to immediately turn around and reinvest it into you guys. Thus, this leads me into the update below: Merch Raffle & Giveaway: Every following Monday until the Anniversary Update there will be a merch raffle with a giveaway, where the winner can pick a mug of choice and I will buy it for them! There will be 5 total winners; here are the days where a winner will get picked: April 14th, 2025 April 21st, 2025 April 28th, 2025 May 5th, 2025 May 12th, 2025 How to enter the raffle: To enter, all you have to do is join the PWAG Discord server. This will let me know that you want to be part of the raffle and will allow me to contact you if you win. I will also stream the raffle there, to ensure fairness for everyone involved.   The Nothing Update: In honor of the start of a new month, there is no update. Trust me, I’m not lying. The rest of this post will tell you what is not updated or added: General: No New Gamemode: Catharsis No New Map: April Map No New Skin: ???? No Difficulty Mini Rework: Vatican and Exorcist have reduced random enemy spawns but random spawns also occur during boss waves and don’t grant kill gold (makes early game less arduous) No Balance Change: Secret boss spawn frequency slightly reduced Bug Fixes: No Bug Fix: Beating Disciple no longer rewards you for all other difficulties No Bug Fix: Beating Exorcist now gives you the Steam Achievement (sorry Crab) No Bug Fix: Gun flare affect correctly appears at the barrel of the gun No Bug Fix: Bullets correctly spawn at the barrel of the gun not at the player No Bug Fix: Pierce now works correctly No Bug Fix: Mass buying Kombucha no long reduces framerate No Bug Fix: Can no longer scroll off of shop list causing a game crash No Bug Fix: Enemies can no longer wander out of the map during Mothman fight causing a softlock That’s all for now.   The Shop Update

  The Shop Update: Want to earn cool cosmetics to show off your dedication to demon-fighting? Well now you can! By playing PWAG you’ll earn Lire, which you can use to buy a large variety of cosmetics. And don’t worry, there are NO micro-transactions, as that is an unholy thing. How to Earn Lire: This is earned entirely by just playing the game! Each game mode offers a slightly different way to earn it though: Classic: Gain 1 Lira per wave. On boss waves earn 2|4|6|8 depending on your difficulty. Survival: Earn 2 Lire per minute each minute (example: earn 2 Lire at 1 min. and another 4 Lire at 2 min.) Boss Rush: Earn 2 Lire per boss kill. Cosmetics Store: For spending your hard earned Lire!   The Polish Update (part 1)

  The Polish Update: Part 1 Tons of small and large changes to make the game overall feel more polished and fun to play. Reworked multiple selection menus to make them cleaner and less overwhelming. I also added a new gamemode so that the update would at least contain some new content :) There’s more I’m planning to add in a future update, but to ensure that the new save-data system is working I’m breaking it into 2 parts, this part essentially being the guinea pig. Quality of Life: New Gamemode: Boss Rush - For quick experiences New: Recap - Displays stats from your most recent run QOL: Certain player settings are saved between game launches QOL: Increased visibility of Pause Menu buttons QOL: Updated Difficulty menu QOL: Updated Gamemode selection screen QOL: Changed wording and style of some text to more fit the flavor of the game QOL: Added Volume button to Pause menu (suggested by Nai) General: Balance: Slight buffs to make Flamethrower feel better early game Balance: Using Purple to teleport grants Invuln-Frames Bug Fix: Fighting the hidden lamp boss with the dog no longer crashes the game Bug Fix: Cursor no longer sometimes disappears when pausing on controller Bug Fix: Flashlight no longer appears incredibly tiny in the Cosmetics menu Bug Fix: Favorite Colors now work on Survival Mode Bug Fix: Gallon shops no longer crash from scrolling too far That's all for now!
