    Crossplay Improvements & Session Fix

Hello dear community 🌿I have released a small update, this one includes a crossplay update.I also fixed a small issue where a session was not fully closed in some cases, which could cause players to fail when trying to join. This issue has now been resolved.A small note: Friends that you add via crossplay will only appear inside the game itself. They will not show up in your regular platform friends list (e.g., Steam or Epic).Think of them as your little cross-platform in-game friends.I hope this makes it a bit easier to spend a calm moment together, no matter which platform you're playing on.I wish you a calm, restful, and stress-free time in the game. Make yourselves comfortable and let your soul drift.

    A small Crossplay update 🌿

Hello dear community 🌿I just released a small update that has been on my mind for a while: Crossplay is now in the game. This means you can now play together with friends who are on a different platform. To make this work, I added a small in-game overlay. There you can see which platform your friends are playing on and also add new friends directly from inside the game. The little trick behind it: Since platforms don't share the same friend lists, it works through a friend code.So nice and simple:open the overlayenter your friend’s codeadd them as a friendand float through the world togetherSmall note: Friends you add through crossplay will only appear inside the game. They won’t show up in your normal platform friend list (for example Steam or Epic). Think of them as your little cross-platform in-game friends.I’m still running a few small tests in the background, so for now crossplay currently works between Steam and Epic. More platforms might join in the future.I hope this makes it a bit easier to spend a calm moment together, no matter which platform you are on.General ImprovementsIn addition, I made a few small optimizations that improve the stability and performance of the game, allowing you to drift through the world even more relaxed.I wish you a calm, restful, and stress-free time in the game. Make yourselves comfortable and let your soul drift.

    A Few Quiet Thoughts

Hey lovely people ☕Some games shout. This one whispers.I’ve been watching Relaxing Simulator for quite a while now and seeing how you spend your time in it — many of you simply let it run, relax, come back from time to time, or enjoy it quietly in the background. That’s exactly what this project was meant to be.A quiet placeWhat started as a small, experimental project has slowly grown into its own calm little space. No pressure, no competition, no “you have to”.And honestly: seeing some of you spend hundreds of hours here still makes me smile every time.Small steps forwardThe game is now multiplayer-enabled and also playable via GeForce NOW — things that likely wouldn’t have happened without this small, quiet community.Trading Cards & Profile Items (Future)Many of you have asked about Steam Trading Cards and profile items. I plan to make these available in the future. At the moment, the game doesn’t yet meet all of Steam’s requirements for this. I’m already in contact with support and hope to be able to offer cards, backgrounds, and other small profile items later on.New MapA new map is also in the works. This will take a little time. There won’t be a new achievement for it, as that would cause some frustration for players who already have everything completed. One small thingReviews are a bit like warm blankets for this game. Not strictly necessary, but they help more people find this quiet place. If you enjoy the game and ever feel like sharing your thoughts, I’d truly appreciate it. If not, that’s completely okay too.Just stay for a while, take a breath, the campfire will keep burning.Thank you for being here. Thank you for playing. And thank you for keeping it cozy.

    Gentle Graphics Refinement Update

Hello dear community 🌿today I’d like to share a few small, but important updates from the calm world of the game.A small correction update has been released. This was prompted by a review that brought to my attention that not all graphics settings were being applied correctly.I took some time to carefully look into this and rule out possible issues. During testing, I discovered that certain settings were overlapping. As a result, options such as TSR, TAA, FXAA, and MSAA did not work as intended, since TSR quality was permanently active in the background. A few other settings were affected as well. All affected areas have now been reworked and thoroughly tested. At this point, everything appears to be functioning as intended.Recommendation:Please perform a reset of the graphics and video settings, then set them up again according to your preferences. If you want to be 100% sure, you can also delete the file shown in the screenshot, the game will automatically create a new one the next time it starts.C:\\Users\\DEIN_PC_NAME\\AppData\\Local\\RelaxingSimulator\\SavedOne last gentle reminder:After changing graphics settings, restarting the game can be helpful. It’s not always required, but it is especially recommended if FSR was previously enabled and then disabled.General ImprovementsIn addition, I made a few small optimizations that improve the stability and performance of the game, allowing you to drift through the world even more relaxed.I wish you a calm, restful, and stress-free time in the game 🌙 Make yourselves comfortable and let your soul drift.
