In World of Warships: Legends, fast-paced action blends with tactical depth. Victory is earned through strategic play, smart positioning, and coordinated teamwork. As a Captain, you can choose from more than 600 historically inspired warships, including legendary vessels from WWII like Yamato, USS Laffey, USS Texas, and many more.
YOUR NAVAL PLAYSTYLE
The pace of battle is yours to control, with four ship types that play very differently. Destroyers rely on speed and stealth, battleships on armor and firepower, and cruisers on versatility, while aircraft carriers influence the fight from above, directing air squadrons to project power anywhere on the map. With hundreds of warships from multiple nations—including the USA, UK, Japan, Germany, Italy, and the USSR—there’s always a ship to match your playstyle.
ELITE LEADERSHIP
Lead your fleet with over 150 historical and fictional Commanders. Each one features a unique skill tree, allowing you to create specialized builds that fit your ship and your playstyle. If you want a different look, use Commander guises with unique visuals and voiceovers. Customize your Commanders and find the perfect combination to win.
UPDATES & MODES
We release major content updates almost every month to ensure there is always something new to explore. Discover everything from powerful new ships and Commanders to unique game modes, ranging from casual PvE events to intense PvP battles. Take part in special collaborations with iconic franchises such as Star Trek and Azur Lane, bringing themed ships, Commanders, and cosmetic content into the game. Complete mission chains, progress through the battle pass, and experience epic War Tales—there is always fresh content for every Captain to enjoy.
CROSS-PROGRESSION
With cross-progression, you can link your console or mobile account to Steam without losing progress. Team up with friends on PC, console, or mobile and dominate the high seas together. Some account linking rules may apply—check the FAQ in the community discussions for details.

Nostalgic Waves: Retrofuturism Sails Again
This time, we've prepared two new ships, a series of retro-tech skins, and two new Commander guises to keep you company as you crest the waves of nostalgia. The event will be live from September 7 until October 5. Read on for all the details! Ships Metro Aegis This floating metropolis embodies innovation, precision, and the courage to push technological boundaries. The ship design is inspired by Fritz Lang's iconic 1927 movie "Metropolis" and the Bauhaus principle that form follows function. Metro Aegis is a German Tier VII Premium cruiser based on Admiral Hipper and retaining her original stats. The ship's firepower is defined by her devastating armor-piercing salvos and flat shell ballistics. She also features thick armor, a large HP pool, and four triple-tube torpedo launchers. Note that Metro Aegis will receive the same buff as the original Hipper in the new update: Repair Party citadel HP regeneration increased from 10 to 33% (both for standard and upgraded hull). Metro Aegis will be available in the Store, both individually and in a special bundle, as well as through the new Retrofuturism Box ’26. Progressor This vessel was created by visionary engineers who valued progress above all else. Progressor is a Pan-Asian Tier VIII Premium destroyer inspired by Lüshun but with significantly altered stats, including the absence of HE shells and Smoke Generator, relying instead on devastating AP shells with improved ricochet angles, along with access to the Main Battery Reload Booster and Radar. Progressor will be available in the Store, both individually and in a special bundle. She can also drop from the new Retrofuturism Box ’26. Skins Midnight Moderne This elegant skin for U.S. battleship Wisconsin combines soft silhouettes with precise geometry, blending technology and luxury. She also boasts solid armor and a versatile consumable suite, which includes Repair Party, an improved Main Battery Reload Booster, and the choice between an Observation Seaplane, Catapult Fighter, Engine Boost, or Enhanced Secondary Targeting. To receive Roussillon, complete all 80 milestones of the campaign within four weeks with an active Admiralty Backing.
