About this game
Rusty Flesh is a sci-fi horror puzzle platformer for the Game Boy Color where you switch gravity instead of jumping (guess you could call it a VVVVVV-like!). Explore the different areas of a derelict spaceship putting together all the pieces of its lovecraftian mistery, and enjoy its retro-futuristic aesthetics.
In the near future, Earth has become a wasteland, unfit for any kind of life. Nations fell, and big tech corporations seized power. They had been getting ready for this. They built massive spaceships where a few chosen ones would travel for hundreds of years, looking for a new home. The Grampus was one of those ships... but something went wrong.

Reflection and Future Plans
Hi! It's been a month since Rusty Flesh launched, so it's probably time to reflect on it a little bit and update you all on the future of this game. But first, a huge THANK YOU to all of you who have played or shared Rusty Flesh, or been part of this journey in any other way! Even for such an under-the-radar project as this one, it's been amazing having a bunch of people supporting me along the way.Let's talk about sales. To be honest, they haven't been too good. However, I knew this would happen, it was a very niche project, and my first commercial game as well, so being realistic, they have been within my expectations, even slightly better than expected for the first month. I don't think I'll see many more sales in a while, until the game takes part in some discount. So, I'm actually satisfied. I have managed to commit to a long-term project that took me about 2 years in my spare time and to ship a game! And of course, I have learnt a lot about game development (first lesson: all I have learnt is but a fraction of all I still need to learn). Looking back, there are definitely some things I'd have done differently, but then I would have trapped myself in a neverending loop of improving old stuff and I'd have never finished the game! Now, about the future, I'm working through a list of bugs that were found after launch, and will release an update soon. Unfortunately, I've had tons of work this month, so things are moving slowly.I am also exploring the possibility of launching a physical edition for the Game Boy Color. This is still in a very early stage and I can't promise anything though, but I just wanted to mention it here anyway. I'll do my best to make it happen! That's all for now! I'll be back soon with news.Thank you!Read full article on Community Announcements (jorgemakesgames)AnnouncementsOfficial
