Embark on a cosmic quest to rescue your kidnapped chicken as an astronaut battles alien hordes and builds bases in this unique roguelite experience.
About this game
Space Bross is a thrilling blend of action 2.5D roguelite, and Tower Defense genres.
You’re a retired astronaut. You had one job: chill. But then they came for your chicken. Now it’s personal.
Set off on a chaotic journey across deep space in Space Bross, a roguelite tower defense action game where survival means lasers, loot, and a whole lot of clucking vengeance.
Explore dangerous, ever-changing alien worlds filled with secrets, traps, and absurd surprises. Each planet you land on brings new biomes, enemies, and challenges.
Before the swarm hits, customize your base.
Strategically place turrets, reinforce your perimeter, and experiment with different defense combos.
It’s your strategy, customize it your way.
When they come, they come hard.
Dash, shoot, and slam your way through relentless waves of alien freaks. Use your skills to stay alive, collect juicy loot, and protect what’s yours.
Combat is fast, reactive, and just the right amount of ridiculous.
Every battle earns you upgrades, use them wisely.
Unlock powerful gear, enhance your weapons, and evolve your tech tree to suit your playstyle. As the enemies grow stronger, so must you… or become space dust.
Space Bross is loud, chaotic, heartfelt, and just a little unhinged, exactly how saving a chicken in space should feel.
What Makes Space Bross Awesome:
• 2.5D Roguelite Tower Defense mayhem
• Chaotic alien swarms & intense boss fights
• Base customizing with tactical turret placement
• Fast-paced combat and dynamic upgrades
• Strategic depth mixed with arcade action
• Yes. The chicken is real. And important.
Wishlist now, and prepare for the rescue mission of a lifetime.

Devlog #6: Commanders, Our Radars Are Receiving Signals Again! Our systems, silent for a long time, are active once more.A new maintenance and improvement update for Space Bross is now live!In this update, we focused on making the overall game flow more stable, fixing several frustrating issues, and improving the balance of the gameplay experience, especially in later sections. This is not a major content update, but rather a quality update aimed at strengthening the core systems of Space Bross and giving players a cleaner, smoother experience.Key Improvements• The wave system on the 4th planet has been reworked• Several issues during wave transitions have been fixed• Enemy wave spawn timings have been improved• Sudden difficulty spikes in later stages have been made more balanced• Issues causing some enemies to move unexpectedly have been fixed• Various performance optimizations have been made• Small issues affecting the overall gameplay flow have been fixed• Minor improvements have been made to some visual and sound effects• Menus and transition screens now provide a more stable experience• Some small issues that could appear during longer play sessions have been fixedNeraxıs-4 Is Now More BalancedBased on player feedback, some wave transitions on the planet Neraxıs-4 felt harsher or more irregular than intended. With this update, the flow of enemy waves has been made clearer, more controlled, and more balanced. Our goal is to reduce situations that feel sudden or unfair to players.Wave System ImprovedThe wave system is one of the most important gameplay elements of Space Bross. That is why, in this update, we made several adjustments to wave starts, enemy spawns, and round progression. In some cases, progression could be delayed even after a wave was completed, or enemies could behave differently than expected. To reduce these issues, system-side improvements have been applied.A Smoother Space Bross ExperienceThis update also focuses on improving the overall gameplay f...Read full article on Community Announcements (Okanaki)AnnouncementsOfficial
Space Bross is now out on Early Access
🛠️ Space Bross is now live in Early Access! 🚀After a long and chaotic journey through development, we’re incredibly excited (and slightly terrified) to finally share Space Bross with you. This is just the beginning. Early Access means we’ll be building the game with your feedback, shaping it into the most unhinged, turret-packed revenge saga it can be. Expect updates, balance tweaks, new content, and probably a few panic fixes along the way.To everyone who’s wishlisted, tested, shared, or just believed in a game where a retired astronaut goes to war over a chicken—thank you. You’ve helped bring this weird little universe to life. Now go melt some aliens. – The Space Bross TeamRead full article on Community Announcements (subway)AnnouncementsOfficial
Devlog #5: UI, QoL Changes and more!
Hello y'all! We'd like to start with a big thank you to anyone who hopped on the demo hype with us and provided very valuable (and much needed) feedback through any channel available. It was our first Steam Next Fest so we can not stress enough how much it means to us and to improving the game, so kudos to you for taking time for that. After the demo rollout with the Steam Next Fest, our main focus was to adress initial findings of you guys, regarding the tutorial (as a whole), UI-UX improvements and language support. Here is what we implemented; UI & Visual Updates; Various UI changes to the evolve screen, now you can see future upgrades and what you would get if you continue upgrading.Map sizes got smaller visually. Now, you can not see the parts of the map that you are not able to walk towards. So the actual gameplay area is the same, just the visual clutter beyond the fight arena is removed.Brand new cutscenes added for completing the planets Zar'Skin and Scrapheim. Quality-of-Life Improvements Russian language and localization support now availableThe dub voice level slider added for adequate sound mixingOverall text sizes got adjustedThe tutorial is totally revamped. Instead of the unskippable texts explaining the game one-by-one, now you can hop on the game directly and access the tutorial from the (?) icon top right side of the minimap. The tutorial button explains everything you need to know at that moment, from skill usage to turret mechanics, in short-but-informative fashion. You will be able to select the specific area of the game you wanted to, close the pop-up menu and keep on shootin'.This update was mainly focused on the major grievances about the general look of the game and the much needed QoL updates, so the next one will be almost exclusively gameplay-related. Our aim is to create a fresh, fun and very violent atmosphere to the game with a perfect gameplay flow.Meanwhile, join our Discord server for getting to know the updates first hand, or to j...Read full article on Community Announcements (subway)Patch NotesOfficial

*Cluck Alert* Suit Up, Commander: Demo is Almost Here!
Hey everyone, we hope you're all doing great! We wanted to take a moment to share an exciting update from our little corner of the galaxy. Since we started showing more of Space Bross, the support and feedback we've received have been incredible, and trust us, we’ve been listening to every word. To be honest, like many indie teams, we've always been a bit hesitant when it comes to sharing too much too soon. We kept polishing things in the background, holding back features, hiding chaos, and sometimes just overthinking what “ready” even means. But we’ve realized it’s time to open the hangar doors and show you what we’ve really been building. So here’s the big news: A public demo is on its way to Steam on June 9th with the Steam Next Fest! Yep, you'll soon be able to jump into the absurd, chaotic, hand-drawn world of Space Bross, blast alien hordes, and try to rescue that very special chicken yourself. We’re preparing a playable demo that will feature: A fully playable planet A taste of the wave system and combat chaos Roguelite upgrades Base-building and turret mechanics A glimpse into our cutscenes and story tone Steam Deck and controller support …and of course, something to hold on about chicken. We want this demo to speak for itself, to show not just what Space Bross is now, but what it’s growing into. If you’ve been curious about what the game actually plays like, this will be your chance to find out. We’ll be sharing the exact release date very soon, but we wanted you to be the first to know what’s coming. Thanks for being here. Your support, even just a comment or a wishlist, means more than you know to a small team like ours. Stay tuned, and get ready to fight for that chicken. 🐔🚀 Lavega GamesRead full article on Community Announcements (hoochiemo)
