About this game
In Echoes Afterfall, you take on the role of a Reclaimer, venturing into the Echoes—mysterious and perilous zones that emerged after the fall of civilization. Your mission is to recover resources and relics crucial for society’s rebirth. Each foray offers random loot opportunities and unexpected dangers, and you must return to the outpost to sell what you find. Failure to meet the requested quota results in reassessment by the Governor’s regime.
Your bunker serves as your operational headquarters, a hub where you can manage your resources and prepare for upcoming expeditions. Use the loot you gather to unlock upgrades and purchase better equipment, customizing your bunker to support your missions more effectively.
Echoes Afterfall is a cooperative horror survival game where you team up with up to three other players. Share resources, strategize your expeditions, and manage the unpredictable dangers that lie ahead. Effective teamwork, resource management, and maintaining your sanity are key to completing your missions and progressing in this harsh new world.
In the Echoes, you’ll encounter diverse enemies and challenges. Navigate procedurally generated dungeons to find treasures, uncover secrets, and manage your sanity as you delve deeper into these twisted zones. Your success hinges on balancing risk and reward, collecting loot, and returning to the bunker before it runs out of energy.

Onboarding Program for New Reclaimers!
Hello reclaimers! Right in time for the Steam Scream 3 the Governor has created an onboarding program for all new Reclaimers! Now, you'll be able to enjoy a tutorial that teaches you the basics when you start the game for the first time! The tutorial can be restarted or stopped from the options menu. I've also implemented a more consistent saving system to ensure your loot is stored safely whenever you decide to stop scavenging. Along with these, some minors bugs and fixes have been created, allowing for a smoother experience for you. Additionally, I've addressed some minor bugs and made fixes for a smoother experience. June State of The Game
Hello Reclaimers! I'm excited to share the latest updates and ongoing developments for Echoes Afterfall. Here’s what I’ve been working on during this time: New Enemies! The Stalker: This chilling new enemy will silently observe you, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. As soon as he finds you, he'll just look at you for a while, until he's done with just watching you... You better run and keep out of his line of sight! Mysterious Entity: There's also a new eerie presence in the game. Won't be easy to catch it off guard... but surely it will catch you. Playtester Feedback A huge thank you to all the playtesters! Your feedback is invaluable and is helping me make the game better with each update. Keep the suggestions and critiques coming; they are crucial to the development process. What’s Next? I'm currently developing the Equipment System that I'm sure will enhance your gameplay experience. This will offer more options and variety in your expeditions. Finishing Off the Maps: Finalizing the first 3 maps for the Early Access release is a top priority. I’m polishing them to ensure a rich and immersive experience for you. This is your exclusive chance to dive into the post-apocalyptic world, explore the haunting Echoes, and help us shape the future of the game, while getting the opportunity to get access to the complete game for free once released!
