  It's World Ocean day!

We are incredibly excited to take part in the World Ocean Day celebration hosted by our lovely friends over at WDC. Please take a moment to check out their incredible mission and all the amazing games that will be discounted throughout the sale! Who are WDC? WDC, Whale and Dolphin Conservation are the leading global charity dedicated to the protection of whales and dolphins. Their expert-led teams in the UK, Europe, the Americas, and Australasia work across the whole spectrum of threats, from climate breakdown to accidental entanglements in fishing gear, pollution, captivity and hunting and whaling. They bring together, and work hand-in-hand with, businesses, philanthropists, scientists, NGOs, governments and grassroots communities to find solutions to the problems faced by whales and dolphins. Their mission is to reverse the global decline of whale and dolphin populations by creating safe seas for these majestic beings. And their vision is a world where every whale and dolphin is safe and free. What is ghost gear? Ghost gear is fishing gear that has been lost or abandoned at sea. It’s a deadly menace to whales, dolphins and other marine life. When a whale or dolphin gets tangled in it, it can kill them in the most horrific way, by preventing them from getting to the surface to breathe. Or they can carry it for days, weeks or even months suffering a slow and painful death as it cuts into their skin, restricts their movement and hampers their ability to hunt and feed. But it’s difficult and expensive for fishers and other ocean users to dispose of gear they find at sea, or even to responsibly get rid of their own gear at the end of its life. Did you know that about 1/3 of marine litter found in European seas is discarded fishing gear? That's estimated to be over 11,000 tonnes entering the sea each year! It is a massive problem and so WDC are working on some innovative solutions. How your support will help this year By purchasing games from this year’s World Ocean Day...

  Whale hello there!

Hello everyone! This is our first community post and we're so excited to be able to offer up some news regarding the development of The Last Whale Singer: Rise of the Leviathan 🐋 First and foremost, we've had a blast getting the game into peoples hands at various events over the last few months. We've shown off the game locally within our gamedev bubble in the Berlin-Brandenburg area at events such as A MAZE, but we've also been at international events like the Nordic Game Conference. The feedback has been exceptional and we've been hard at work implementing changes and suggestions from what we've learned so far. As we get another build ready to show off at Gamescom next week, we're excited to share that we'll also be part of this year's Wholesome Games celebration on Steam! The event will take place August 15–21 starting at 1pm ET! We'll also be streaming the game ourselves on Steam, so mark your calendars and be sure to tune in! We'll be answering questions and talking through parts of the development process so far. More information about the event can be found here Wholesome Games. To stay more up-to-date with the latest news on what we're up to, consider checking out our socials (Twitter, Instagram) and webpage. Lastly, we'd like to thank everyone that's played the game, come up and talked to us, or provided feedback in any way over the last couple of months. It's incredibly motivating to see how each and every one of you have engaged with The Last Whale Singer universe so far, and we can't wait to show you more of it! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45095980/b5652dfd06ea24bd0c66cd062ad72d28805616b3.png
