Hey Club Members, We are 9 months into 2026, and only 3 months away from new information about our upcoming games! Here's the news: Sequel UpdatesAs usual, we have been hard at work on developing the sequel game and its upcoming trailer. We have made strides in UI design, character writing, character art, and 3d modeling. It is so rewarding to see our ambition come to life these past couple of weeks, and we are proud of the work all of our new and current members are putting in! After School Duels UpdatesLikewise with our card game, development has been progressing smoothly and we are currently working on creating a more refined demo to continue testing. We've been having a lot of fun playtesting and iterating on the game to make it the best it can be. Community NewsWe are happy to announce that we have finished developing the upcoming Discord community event and are now into the testing and polish stage. We want to make this event memorable and exciting for you all to be a part of, so we are speeding our way through the final parts. The event will be starting on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 1:00 PM. And that's all... for now. We know this announcement is relatively short — just know we've been putting our heads down and working fully on development at the moment. More news to come; stay tuned. - Lyko StudioRead full article on Community Announcements (CouchComfy)AnnouncementsOfficial

Hey Club Members,With the end of the year starting to peek its head around the corner, there are some exciting things to look forward to. Let's get into it.Game UpdatesDevelopment of the sequel game and its new trailer have been making steady progress. In addition to further developing characters and our dear protagonist's journey, we have been making headway into music and soundtrack production. There has also been some brand new character designs made by our awesome artists which we can't show you just yet, but hope you will enjoy. After School Duels -- Our New Card Game! After the announcement of our spin-off card game "After School Duels", we have continued our development in a number of ways. Ongoing playtests have been revealing some really promising results, and our finalized card designs look super sweet to play with -- if we do say so ourselves. We have also been designing the new logo for the spin-off, which we can't wait to reveal soon! Keep an eye out for any new updates.Community NewsThe new Discord Event we were planning for the community has taken a little longer to make than we projected, mainly due to a few... technical difficulties of some devs. But those have all been resolved, hopefully, so that should be ready to go in just a couple weeks!- Lyko StudioRead full article on Community Announcements (CouchComfy)AnnouncementsOfficial

Hey Club Members,A lot's been going on this month, and we have a lot to share!Sequel NewsFirst thing's first: we're officially far enough along on the "I Wanna Be A Game Dev!" Sequel that we can now give a release date for the Steam page and trailer. Both of these will come out on December 19th, the one-year anniversary of the expansion DLC!Of course, this is still several months away, but this is our most ambitious game so far, and we want to make sure the game is revealed at its best. But, for now, enjoy this new character... but wait, who is this, anyway? In the meantime... we do have one more announcement.A Spin-Off...?For a while now, in the shadows, some of us have been working on a passion project based on the "I Wanna Be A Game Dev!" universe (and been subtly hinting at it in other announcements!) Today, we can finally reveal After School Duels, a competitive card game where the characters race to complete games of their own!Right now, it is still in early alpha testing, but we are planning to have a demo of the game out before the end of the year. We have been super excited to share this with you all, as we are super passionate about it.We know that this is a lot, but the "I Wanna Be A Game Dev!" Sequel is still our top priority. Our team has been working for hours upon hours each week to flesh out the continuation of the story, so we hope you'll look forward to it.Community NewsWe're also planning on hosting new Discord events in the near future! We don't have a specific date for our next one yet, but we have been preparing the Steve bot for it, and if you're familiar with the Hunger Games, Battle Royale, and other similar killing games... well, we just told you exactly what the event is.The Future We're incredibly excited to share all this, as much of this has been in the works for months! We can't wait to hear your feedback, and thank you so much for your continued support and love. -Lyko StudioRead full article on Community Announcements (CouchComfy)AnnouncementsOfficial
