About this game
Better With A Friend is a collection of hand drawn games specifically for the Steam Deck that you can only play with somebody else.
Better With A Friend is a homage to older games that I used to play back in the day during high school. Either on paper, some random flash game website, one of my first phones or a DOS PC that later became the Windows 95 computer. The time that it was virtually impossible to play against each other over the internet. Not counting those text based browser strategy games that my friends and I frequently visited during computer class. You basically had to be at the same place with all your friends to play games. For some games even sharing a keyboard or mouse.
There are 11 games and a quizmaster mode in Better With A Friend at the moment!

New upcoming Steam Deck/Controller game: Fingerdrums!
Hi everyone! Announcing a new little project I am working on: Fingerdrums! Using the Steam Controller or the Steam Deck touchpads, it will be a roughly 30-minute experience, taking you through different rhythms and a bit of an abstract story. No worries. For this one, I am also building in controller mapping and keyboard support if you are still waiting in the queue for the Steam Controller. Better With A Friend turns 1 year!
Hi everyone! I just wanted to take this little inevitable milestone to thank everyone for the support that Better With The Friend has received in the past year. It is great to see so many people playing it and still playing it. Getting messages from people that they finally have something to play with their kids or their girlfriend. It is really heartwarming to read those little stories being made by you guys. While there hasn't been an update in quite some time, I still have some things planned for Better With A Friend, but at the moment I am focussing on my other upcoming Steam Deck game: Game With Balls, that I hope to ship, before the end of the year. Game With Ball - Small Fix
HI! While developing Game With Balls I noticed that I wanted to do the Physics a little bit different than it was in the first version that was included in Better With A Friend so that is now roughly the same here as it is in the eventual game. Also fixed an issue with the timer starting too soon... Guess you will have to challenge your friends again to see who is the quickest! Let me know what you think about the improved physics in the discussions! And if you want more? I am working on a demo for Game With Balls that should come out fairly shortly!
