About this game
Premise
In "Iridescent" you step into the shoes of Kruk, a long time member of the Astel family, renowned healers entrusted with perilous missions. Tasked with curing a plague that transforms people into beasts or madmen, Kruk soon discovers that this affliction is merely a symptom of a world teetering on the brink of destruction. Being seemingly the only one who is willing to try, he embarks on an odyssey through the whole world to acquire the cure.
Gameplay
The classic Zelda formula of dungeons, exploration and side quests meets combat inspired by Sekiro. The combat is deflection/parry based while giving you plenty of room for self expression with many unique tools to use. The dungeons are sprawling with many puzzles and combat encounters. Each dungeon having unique theming and gimmicks to keep the game fresh!
Combat
Combat in "Iridescent" is a test of skill and precision. Embrace the art of parrying to deflect enemy attacks while sneaking your own attacks in between, gradually chipping away at their stagger bar until its filled and you can unleash a powerful grapple attack that inflicts massive damage. Boss battles are dynamic and intense, with adversaries evolving and adapting their tactics as the fight unfolds, keeping you on your toes until the very end.
Demo
The demo is the first level of the game given away for free. The savefile used will be usable in the full game so if you aren't sure about buying the game you can use the demo as a an extra refund window. The first level is a microcosm of the whole gameplay loop. On average it takes people about 1-2 hours to beat. If any of this seems at all interesting then it's the best place to start!

update 12-9-2026
The amount of these should show you how low my brain power truly is. Anyways typos (the classic) the dragon doesnt shove you into the corner nor does it shove itself into the corner. Still dont know HOW it did that I just made sure it stays put. The maidens dont softlock the game because they didnt expect you to heal mid instant kill attack (yes it is as stupid as it sounds) The irony of the player called TNT dragon finding a bug during the dragon boss fight is not lost on me.Read full article on Community Announcements (Drayma)Patch NotesOfficial

Steamdeck check 17-8-2026
Adding small controller improvements for steamdeck. A little bit back I gained the ability to test stuff on steamdeck and am slowly playing through it. Each time I see something that can be improved upon I try to update the game. Because the game is playable on controller and it runs on the deck then I can assure people with 99% accuracy that you can 100% complete the game on the deck. I am adding some quality of life updates in the mean time. I will admit that these updates will be few and far between because I am currently working on new projects which are getting the lions share of the effort.Read full article on Community Announcements (Drayma)Patch NotesOfficial
Small patch 24-7-2026
Hello! Been a while! Few small fixes. The fortune teller had a typo which didnt give you hits after the Wonderland Workshop, now that is fixed. I made a enemy nigh immortal but you bastards kept finding ways to kill them and breaking progression so now they can only be killed with the right moves. I wanted to be the cool dev that didnt do this type of stuff but you guys forced my hand! Its not even a cool skip or anything, the game just breaks!!! Speaking of making stuff Immortal. Someone found a way to kill Woodsy through their last attack. Now they will be immortal only for that 1 move. For rematches or any other parts they still work like always.Read full article on Community Announcements (Drayma)
