About this game

Grab up to five of your best friends and jump into this co-op looter with quick-paced, high variety, action-packed rounds. Raid underwater bases, collect all the power cells, and use your Scrapsaw to find as much scrap as you can. Level up and use scrap to upgrade your abilities to help you face even harder raids! And the best part? We won't even try to scare you while you fight to save New Tortuga!

Select a raid, gear up with your favorite weapons and tools, and head into the depths!
Each raid gives you only a short window to locate and deposit the base’s power cells - vital for keeping the lights on in New Tortuga, your home city. Along the way, collect scrap to upgrade your loadout and increase your chances of success in future raids.

Use your trusty Scrapsaw to break down objects in the base for valuable scrap. But be careful - time is limited, and every second spent scavenging cuts into the precious minutes you have to find and deposit the power cells. Fail to recover all of them, and you’ll lose every piece of scrap you gathered. Use your time wisely… and try not to get too greedy.

Your pack fills fast. Scrap heaps up, space dwindles, and every choice costs time. Return to the sub to stash your haul, or - if you’ve mastered scrap compacting - crush it down into something smaller and far more valuable. Do you hold onto every scrap of profit, or rush back to unload before the clock runs out?

Scrappers do better when they stick together. Every raid throws chaos at you - roaring fires, toxic slimes, tentacle creatures, jammed doors, collapsing hallways, and more. The right tools make all the difference. Want to keep the flames under control? Bring a sprayer. Prefer patching up damage as the base tears itself apart? Grab the repair tool. Whatever’s waiting inside, teamwork and preparation are the keys to getting out in one piece.

During each raid, you'll earn XP and level up. As you progress, you'll unlock new upgrades for your weapons and tools, as well as powerful skills that enhance your scrapper’s abilities. Customize your loadout and shape your scrapper to match your playstyle.

These icons show which tools other players have selected for the raid so all players know what tools teammates currently have during a raid. We added "quit messaging" so the host is aware that if they leave a raid, they will bring their entire party out of the raid, as well, as we felt that wasn't clear to players. If you try to drop a weapon or tool that cannot be dropped (currently Nailer or Scrap Gun), players will now hear a "negative buzzer" sound and a toast message reminding you that you cannot drop these weapons. There will also be an icon on the weapon wheel so this is more clear. We completed a design pass on weapons. The specific changes are as follows:Most weapons have had their fire-rate doubled, damage reduced, and ammo increased. Overall weapons are more powerful.Shotgun damage profile reworked to 1-shot at close range, and a more steep falloff at medium range.Archer reload time reduced to match the Recycler.Rusty Bulldozer reload time increased.Ripsaw's base scrapping speed increased 20%.We completed a design pass on raids to balance the end sequence a little more:Small raids now gain 15 seconds (up from 12) when disabling an electric barrierLarge raids now gain 10 seconds (down from 12) when disabling an electric barrierWe completed a design pass on scrap and rewards:The value of scrap item...Read full article on Community Announcements (OOI_Sam)AnnouncementsOfficial

Patch NotesNEW FEATURES New Character Outfits Each of the 6 characters now have one additional outfit in addition to their default skin. To unlock an outfit, you will need to pay the specified price in addition to acquiring the required number of outfit tokens. Each token can be obtained by finding an outfit cannister in a raid and delivering it to the sub chute. You must be on the sub at the end of the raid to keep any outfit cannisters you have deposited. Other Additions We enabled Simplified and Traditional Chinese text. To better message that some tools/weapons cannot be dropped, we updated the item descriptions and added a “No Dropping” icon to the utility wheel. Content Update Now Available!
Firstly, the Dev team wants to extend a truly heartfelt thanks to all the players who have given Scrap Daddies a try, joined our Discord, or shared their funny moments on Twitch or social media! We are so glad to see everyone enjoying Scrap Daddies! And we are stoked to be able to release another exciting content update!NEW FEATURES Added hooks so we can have better analytics / metrics. This information will help us balance the difficulty, decide what new features to add, etc. Added Ambient Occlusion. Ambient Occlusion (AO) is a 3D rendering technique that simulates soft, global illumination of shadows in corners, creases, and crevices, improving depth and grounding objects. (tl;dr: This change makes everything look nicer!) We added one additional Power Cell room. Be sure to look out for it in raids! We added some more information to the Raid Selection screen so players can see their existing currency, a range of how many power cells are in each raid, and how many rooms are in each raid. We hope this will help players make more informed decisions on the level of perceived difficulty in each raid. BALANCING CHANGES We cleaned up some of the environment in New Tortuga and in raids. We made some improvements in regard to enemy behaviour for Ambush and Melee slimes. The Design team balanced some of the existing rooms. We modified the behaviour of loot containers so that instead of opening a secondary inventory window with drag-and-drop functionality, when you open a loot container, the contents of the crate will spill onto the floor to be picked up. We added a new sound effect and messaging so that when you pick up a weapon or tool, you will see a notification. We noticed some players were spamming “E” to pick up items when scrapping, resulting in some players not realizing they picked up an additional weapon or tool. BUG FIXES We fixed several environmental bugs pertaining to clipping, collisions, etc. We fixed an issue where the game may become unresponsive and c...Read full article on Community Announcements (OOI_Sam)
