About the Game

Cookard is a cooking game where you run a restaurant by stacking cards to prepare and serve dishes to customers.

Prepare Dish

Every dish requires a certain set of steps and ingredients, which can typically be completed by dragging ingredient cards (such as Egg, Dough, Honey) to utensil cards (such as Oven, Stove). You can always check the Recipes section if you're at loss. As the game progresses, you'll unlock more recipes to cook!

Serve Dish

Dragging a 'Customer' card on top of a 'Table' card will reveal their desired dish. Serve them by placing their desired dish on top of them. Customers won't linger for very long, so make sure to deliver their dish in a timely manner!

Buy & Trade

Every dish requires a set of ingredient cards, and you'll need to stock up on them from time to time. Ingredients can be bought by placing a coins card on top of a store card, such as 'Store' or 'Fruit Stall'.

Sometimes you'll find yourselves surrounded by unecessary stuff. It's good idea to sell them in the 'Trade House' to get coins in return. You could also trade various items to get other items, such as an additional Table or Oven, etc.

Complete Quests

Completing quests earns you rewards, often including new additions to the restaurant, such as new utensils and recipes. Progress!

Hire Workers

Tired of clicking Water Pump or Hand Crank? Hire workers to help you generate electricity!
Put them on Running Wheel to kickstart your machinations!

Automate Your Kitchen

Who knows moving and sorting cards will be so tiring? Unlock magnet and use it to pull the cards from one place to another!

  Major Update for Cooking Fest and TLGA Awards!

  Continuing from the Beta Branch, we received many feedback, and we intend to solve them for upcoming Steam Cooking Festival. And also on different occasion, Cookard is nominated in The Lazy Game Awards, we have full write up about that here. Now we have merged the Beta Branch to the Main Branch, applying all the modification. We have also received many feedback on our Beta Branch, and we decide to fix it. Here are several feedback on the beta branch: The ant mechanic is annoying, and we have gotten rid of it The UI is too big, and we have reduced it You guys want to generate Egg and Honey without buying it, I've already included in this iteration And also we add some decoration for Cooking Fest :D. About The Beta Branch If you guys haven't know about the Beta Branch, you could check this post to see what is it about. But in general we add this thing: Rebalance Quest and Progression: now we have Packs that need certain amount of Coin to open or certain amount of Clicks. And also the progression is a little bit longer, to space out the feature Chest Card: now we have Chest mechanic, where you could store stuff More Worker Utility: now worker could do several thing, not only running on the wheel, for example stopping customer from coming Refined Magnet: now a single magnet could pull many card type at once. And you could set it to pull certain amount or unlimited amount. Before this iteration, it could only pull unlimited amount. This is useful for automating the Oven and Stove. Auto Clicker: There's a card that could spawn cursor to click another card Recipe Balancing: There's so much surplus of egg before the beta branch, we add new Recipe to balance out the ingredients usage, such as Meringue and Pavlova. New Recipe and Ingredients: We have Blender and have Juice Recipes. Some Quality of Life: we make the UI hideable, and more info about the card The Enemy: in the beta branch, we have some enemy that will steal your card.
