Yurei chapter: Prologue
In the prologue, play as Tsuki, a new housekeeper in the eerie Nichishima no Yūrei district. On her first day, a storm knocks out the power, forcing her to explore the house to restore it. This quest uncovers dark secrets, unleashing a vengeful presence. Tsuki must escape the tainted house, setting the stage for the main story and revealing the village's mysterious inhabitants.

But peace is short-lived when a power outage plunges your new home into darkness. Seeking aid, you venture into the village, where it will be down to you to decide the fate of Nichishima, if you survive.
Welcome to Nichishima (survival horror DLC in development)
Step into the shadowed past of Nichishima, a village in 1960s Japan, in this prequel chapter to the main game. As a newcomer in your final year of school, a classmate’s sudden disappearance draws you into a chilling mystery. What begins as a search unravels into a third-person survival horror nightmare—where reality frays, and every shadow hides a truth you can’t trust. Can you escape Nichishima or will you lose yourself forever?
Realistic graphics, weather effects and a strong narrative come together to create this immersive first person horror experience, are you ready to be in these shoes?
You will be able to use a range of equipment to help you with your investigating such as a flash light, A lighter to light candles and help you see when you have no other light. An instant camera to take pictures that you can keep to help remember things or even see things your eyes cannot.

Summer 26 Patch
Sorry for delay in this patch! For personal reasons our team has been short of hands recently so this patch has taken longer. What's new - Lumen is now supported - We have moved to 5.6! using new lighting systems to help with performence - All characters now use their own model and lighting equipment - different VHS filter effects for both chapters We are still working on improving the Shadows chapter and appreciate patience on this, we are also adding Vietnamese as a language option. January Patch
Big Squished! A pretty big bug was found and reported which resulted in the save system not working properly in the new chapter. We have had to make some changes that required some changes to other elements. We have resolved the issue but for the time being we have removed the character mesh as we keep working to update some systems. As a first person game we hope this does not ruin your experience and made saving the game a priority! Thank you for your patience. Shadow 0.1 Update
The Shadow update is live! This means the new chapter is now accessible! We really hope you enjoy exploring the 90s found footage style addition to the game. Please remember this is still in early access and we will use feedback to fix and improve the game! If you run into any issues please put it in the discussion and give us time to fix things like we did with the last chapter. August pre Shadow of Nichishima patch
Thank you! Firstly we would just like to say thank you for playing, reviewing and helping us make our game better with your feedback. We are always looking to improve the experience for our players and listen to your experiences. What's new! This patch is bigger than usual as we are preparing for our new chapter Shadow of Nichishima which will be a free content update planned for this Halloween. Here is a list of updates in this patch: - Fixed issue with the Onsen door (This will only open once you have escaped the house) - Improved lighting and atmosphere (We listened to feedback saying it was too dark when outside) - New subtle VHS filter effect (Simple press P to toggle it) - Fixed event trigger issues (Some encounters have been fixed and adjusted) - Some additional audio effects have been added - Player interact icon colour changed to improve visibility What's next The next update will bring a whole new chapter with hours of content, to tease this we added the filter option, but this is not going to be the same one used in Shadow of Nichishima.
