About this game

Liminality is a relaxing liminal horror game focused on exploration, the poolrooms and other liminal spaces.
*the game might look different based on your graphics level and graphics card

The game revolves entirely around Liminal Spaces, but what exactly are they? Liminality refers to something stuck between two different places or states. Liminal Spaces embody this, serving as areas in a state of transition. But when you stumble upon these places devoid of life, it's eerie. You'd expect company, but it's just you... or at least you believe so.

The poolrooms are a series of big, dimly lit spaces filled with lukewarm water. These eerie, empty areas seem to stretch on forever, mixing a weird sense of calm with creeping dread. As you wander through the quiet water and deserted halls, the unsettling silence makes you wonder if you're really alone.

Liminality 1.0 Announcement
Version 1.0 Announcement Liminality 1.0 is finally getting released (been a while). I agree that this game has not been updated as much as The Backrooms Deluxe before being fully released, but 1.0 will add way more content compared to TBDX Early Access -> 1.0. I apologize for the lack of updates and mediocre chapters 2 & 3, but I hope this update will make the game more enjoyable and less mediocre. There is also a secret in the looped version of Chapter 2, if you can find it. Main changes: Ending to the liminality lore Multiple alternative endings 5+ new chapters A prologue The character's backstory Bug fixes, of course Many more we do not dare to announce... Liminality is no longer going to update, and will instead stay on 0.13 up to the release of 1.0. I would like to thank everyone who participated in making this possible personally. This means you, the awesome community, the beta testers, and a special thanks to: ojpme ThisOne Not Sure / A JANITOR Zanndo Nova Lele DavidJoacaRo and of course to all the people who supported me early on. (please note that the names are in no particular order, please don't get offended because I didn't put your name as the first one in the list) In case you didn't notice, this isn't really a "relaxing" type of game, nor is it a "horror" type of game, it's kind of both. If you enjoy liminal spaces, there's no way of telling wether you'll like this game or not, you can watch gameplays on youtube, or even refund the game if it's not your type of game. Update 1.0 is completely free for owners of Early Access, but may or may not increase the price of the game (depending on what I decide is best for the game) The next announcement will 99% be the 1.0 release announcement. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44959079/52ac36a74766a3ac22a58ee7fb75977bde771b35.pngRead full article on Community Announcements (Lory Games)Patch NotesOfficial
