  Quick Update• Steam achievements were not working properly, so they’ve been temporarily disabled while I work on fixing them.• A bug caused by an incorrect file name prevented the game from launching from Steam on Linux and SteamOS. This has now been fixed.Looking ahead to 2026, I’m currently working on version 3.0, which will include:• A refreshed interface• Fixes for VSync issues on high refresh rate monitors• A fully fixed achievements system• General bug fixes and polishThank you so much for your patience and continued support.   Update 2.0.0 Now Available! 🎉

  The wait is over: version 2.0.0 of Toni Island Adventure is now live!This update brings:New features and overall improvementsSeveral bug fixesAnd the long-awaited Steam Achievements support 🏆See below for the full changelog.⚠️ Important: when updating to version 2.0.0, your current game files will be replaced. If you want to keep your old saves, make sure to back them up by copying the entire Toni Island Adventure folder to a safe place on your PC before updating.And there’s more: you can now skip the main story if you prefer. That way, anyone who just wants to explore the island’s extra content without restarting the whole game can jump right in! To do this, simply open the PataPhone menu, move the cursor to the center button (just below the display), and quickly press ⬆+A.Toni Island Adventure is part of the Steam Autumn Sale, running from September 29 to October 6, with 40% off.   Toni Island Adventure v2.0 is arriving soon!

  We’re pleased to inform you that version 2.0 will be released in the next couple of weeks. This update comes with new features, improvements, bug fixes, AND much-awaited Steam Achievements support. But before it goes live, we want to give you a quick heads-up.⚠️ Important: updating to version 2.0 will override your current game files.If you want to keep your existing saves, make sure to back them up. Just copy the entire Toni Island Adventure folder to a safe spot on your PC. Good news for explorers too: if you don’t feel like starting the main story over, version 2.0 includes a new option to skip it.
