About this game
Wizzerd Quest Is BACK!
Kondoorsoft returns with the long-awaited sequel to the shareware sleeper hit Wizzerd Quest! How did we manage to top such a strange and charming game?! By quadrupling the scope, building an brand new entirely 3D open world to explore, and adding LIVE-ACTION FULL-MOTION VIDEO CUTSCENES into the mix!
STORY: The Emperor Is Dead!
Good news! You beat Wizzerd Quest and saved the island of Wayword! Or maybe you're new, so you didn't do any of that! Either way, bad news! - The mainland is in even worse shape! A necromancer cult has taken the Emperor's body into an evil cathedral to do who-knows-what to it, and it's your job to drive them back, region by region, rescue the Emperor's remains, and bring peace and freedom to the land of Evenfall! You can do this solo, or call in a buddy to help with Wizzerd Quest 2's full split-screen co-op mode!
GAMEPLAY: Wizzerd Quest gets a BIG upgrade!
Let's face it: you liked Wizzerd Quest, but the jank gave you a headache. Well good news, sport. You can now experience the iconic Wizzerd Quest writing and optional co-op gameplay paired with major enhancements:
Full 3D movement and camera controls, including full key remapping and mouse sensitivity adjustment!
A vastly improved inventory and bartering system anchored by mouse or controller-driven menus that no longer require awkward button mashing!
A proper map system with full player and landmark location (but no yellow paint, and if you ask us for quest waypoints we will cry so please respect our choice to Daggerfall-up these quest objectives)
A rich collection of minigames, dungeons, factions and side quests, so you can tackle the game at your own pace!
Unique, hand-written dialogue for every NPC in the game, rich worlds full of hand-placed landmarks and lore, and absolutely zero microtransactions, invasive DRM or AI slop.
IN CONCLUSION:
If you like a retro RPG that will give you all the good brain chemicals, never ask you for real money, end in a reasonable 5-10 hours, and leave you with a smile on your face, give this charming retro RPG a try. You won't regret it!
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: SPLIT-SCREEN CO-OP REQUIRES TWO CONTROLLERS TO PLAY.
LESS IMPORTANT, BUT STILL RELEVANT NOTE: MacOS support for the Steam version of the game is coming soon! We have ready builds but can't release until Apple notarizes them. Stay tuned!
This game does not contain assets created by Generative AI.

Patch 1.03
Hi there folks! Here is the latest patch. This will hopefully remove the last of the major game-breaking bugs, but that doesn't mean the adventure is over! We will keep patching whenever the game needs it, because that is what you as players deserve!Fixed the door for the Galshir Canyon Temple. The door wasn't locking automatically after liberation, and the result was you could re-enter the Dark Forest whenever you felt like it. Considering what is in the Dark Forest, that's a no go.Fixed the Church of Saints in Pinvidic so it updates your reputation for Heusaff Forest and Goff Base instead of defaulting to Reytalia.Fixed the Rising Night Mage not counting for side quests.Fixed the Bayan Steppe not showing as liberated in the Journal after clearing the temple.Fixed the mixing on the Reytalian Lactonio cutscene so he speaks through both channels.Removed collision from torches, as it pretty much exclusively led to glitches and sequence-breaking.Nerfed the level-up mechanics. Players were experiencing exponential growth on their stats and could easily end the game with thousands of HP. The percent cost of leveling is now higher than the percent reward you receive, preventing the player from "outrunning" the level-up rate and becoming near-invulnerable to damage.Added FMV cutscenes for Lactonio's cows (as this was apparently a big deal for the internet!)Thanks folks, talk to you again soon!Read full article on Community Announcements (neatotrento)Patch NotesOfficial
Patch 1.02
Hey y'all, Trent here! Another day, another patch. We will keep at this until everything is fixed!Patch Notes:Replaced the vendor’s key in Hulgan with the Badlands House Key. Vaanchig Villa Key was cut from the base game and shouldn’t have been sellable, but we are gonna make things right and patch the villa in via a later update so the people who already bought the key don’t get shafted.Fixed an issue where half the river in Heusaff Forest didn’t have collision, allowing the player to climb underneath the terrain.Fixed an issue where the player couldn’t click Respawn in the menu while using a controller.Fixed an issue where the hitbox for the door in the Riaporta general store didn’t line up with the door texture, causing people to get stuck until they found the “real” door.Known Issues we are still working on:Some RTX 5000 cards are having some issues with insane amounts of bloom in the HUD. We are working to find root cause as quickly as possible, it’s just taking some time because I don’t have a card like that here to test. But we are working on itOn weaker CPUs, the game will freeze for a couple seconds after killing a boss. We are working on a new loading system that will cache the next scene in advance during the bossfight, which should eliminate the freeze. The minimap will sometimes be visible inside interiors, with the player icon trapped in the top left. This should not be visible inside of dungeons and we are working on fixing it.The player jumps when pressing A while banking if the player is using certain Xbox controllers, but not all. IDK what the deal is here but I’ll get ‘er fixed.More updates soon. Thanks folks!Read full article on Community Announcements (neatotrento)Patch NotesOfficial
Patch 1.01
Hi folks! I want to take a moment and thank you all for taking a chance and giving WQ2 a shot. I know that despite our testing, a number of bugs have slipped through the cracks, and I want you all to know that it is out TOP priority to fix every single bug reported. Today's patch is the first of many. Keep the feedback coming!ADDED FEATURES:Added a new character: Patchy the Banker. Patchy shows up in each region near the Saint Temple, and allows you to deposit your hard-earned money before the boss without having to walk all the way back to the nearest region. Additionally, he has a permanent spot near Lassier in the Wustial Ruins, so you're always close to a banker. The Bank UI has been updated with hotkeys for depositing / withdrawing gold in 5 and 10 unit increments. This is a boon to controller players, or people who quickly want to drop gold in without having to type in the text box.FIXED BUGS:Added a slope to the pond near Reytalian Coast's temple so you don't drown.Added an invisible wall to stop players from climbing up into Riaporta and getting stuckFixed texture tiling issues in Caprain Isles that led to the mountains looking cheap and jankyFixed a bug that would delete the item in your hand if you drank a potion and then switched to another item before the animation finished.Fixed the Respawn button in the pause menu so it can be selected by a controllerStatue of Ghop now reports the correct name to the player instead of saying "Statue of Adal"Players can no longer be stunlocked in Goff Base by taking to Treun Kranvidic before liberating the city. The door to the Temple will now open regardless of story progress.Fixed a softlock in Heusaff Saint Temple where the player can climb into a side room and then can't exit due to a lack of a rampStopped players from falling out of the map in Heusaff and Reytalian Saint TemplesThanks guys! More patches are on the way!Read full article on Community Announcements (neatotrento)
