About this game

"Lost Lullabies - The Orphanage Chronicles" is a Co-Op horror game set in 1980, inspired by the real stories of an orphanage ruined by a fire in 1960 Lowell. Playable with 1-4 players, the goal is to identify and expel malevolent spirits alone or with your team.

STORY

In the foggy woods on the outskirts of Lowell town, you'll find the quiet Lowell Orphanage. It's surrounded by old stories and spooky secrets. Our story unfolds in the town of Lowell, home to the infamous Lowell Orphanage where children endured torture and experiments. Destroyed in a mysterious fire in 1960, its secrets remained unsolved until 1980 when four friends set out to explore it. The game offers a gripping 4-chapter story mode recounting their journey and a co-op online mode for countless hours of shared adventure. Starting with the first 2 chapters in early access, the game will soon complete with the release of the final 2 chapters, offering a full 4-chapter story mode.

UNIQUE GAMEPLAY

To stop ghosts, we must first figure out what kind they are by uncovering their tragic past. Each ghost presents its story as a puzzle. We solve it to neutralize malicious spirits or bring peace to benevolent ones. Players must first discover the type of ghost during the ghost-hunting phase, then solve puzzles based on their past to exorcism their spirit. Each ghost has its own unique story and puzzles. In early access, there will be 2 chapters featuring 4 ghosts, where players can uncover their stories, chase clues, and solve puzzles.

REALISTIC GRAPHICS

With its stunning graphics and atmospheric settings, "Lost Lullabies" offers a terrifying gaming experience. From the burnt ruins of the orphanage to the dark streets of Lowell, every detail immerses players in a world of suspense and fear.

MAP

The game takes place in a large orphanage, featuring a complex and precarious map where all the clues and locations players need to investigate shift in each session. As players progress through chapters and play mini-games, more areas are gradually unlocked. Some sections of the map are dark and claustrophobic, enhancing the eerie atmosphere of the game.

GHOSTS

Players will encounter various types of ghosts and each ghost has its own unique characteristics to figure out its type. Out of 18 ghosts, they must use different equipment to find evidence and identify the correct type.

EQUIPMENTS

Players can use 24 different equipment to identify the right type of ghost.

GARAGE

The place where you meet with your team before heading to the orphanage. Here, you can buy or sell items, choose which chapter to play, chat with your friends, and try to find hidden easter eggs inside!

SHADY DEALER

A mysterious figure lurks inside the orphanage! The reason for their presence and purpose remains a mystery. The only known fact is that they love trinkets! Collect the trinkets inside the orphanage and try to use them to find the ghost with the Shady Dealer's items.

VOICE INTERACTION

Be mindful of your words! The ghost can hear you, or you might hear them. Don't hesitate to give it a try!

ITEMS

Every item is meticulously crafted to evoke the atmosphere of the 1960s-1980s era. From weathered photographs to faded letters, each holds vital clues to unraveling the orphanage's mysteries, encouraging players to explore and uncover its chilling past.

Are you ready to uncover the truth behind the orphanage fire and solve the mysteries of Lowell?

Lost Lullabies: The Orphanage Chronicles - Release Date & Developer Update

Hi everyone, As many of you have noticed, we’ve been quiet for quite some time. During this period we couldn’t properly keep you informed about what was happening both with us and with Lost Lullabies: The Orphanage Chronicles. Please accept our sincere apologies for that silence. We owe you an explanation, and it’s finally time to give it. We also want to share what’s next for the game. Since its Early Access launch on Steam, Lost Lullabies: The Orphanage Chronicles has gone through a long period of inactivity. The main reason was the financial challenges we faced shortly after release. We relied on the strong wishlist numbers and moved forward a bit too early, but the unexpected launch of the popular game R.E.P.O. during the same period disrupted all of our plans. That situation took a toll on the team’s motivation and as a result, we failed to deliver the updates we had promised on time. For that we truly apologize. But things are finally changing. We’ve partnered with GameDev.ist as our publisher, and with their support we’re now able to bring Lost Lullabies to the level it deserves. Thanks to this partnership we can now dedicate our full time and focus to the game. It also helped us recover mentally and regain the motivation we had lost along the way. Starting from October 27, Lost Lullabies: The Orphanage Chronicles will leave Early Access and move into its full release, featuring new content, performance improvements, and a clear update roadmap. We’ve expanded the story, atmosphere, and overall experience of the game and a brand new map will also be added with the full release. From now on, we’ll keep you updated every step of the way and maintain transparent communication with our community. To everyone who patiently supported us through this long journey, thank you. Lost Lullabies: The Orphanage Chronicles is being reborn, and it’s all thanks to you.
