About this game
Falling Stars is a simulation game where players design the automatic defense system of a city to protect it from falling celestial objects. It's a mix between a tower defense and an automation game with physics.

Play on various unique worlds! You are called to protect a cast of planets with unique atmospheres and new technologies developed by their quirky robo-citizens.
Discover new types of celestial objects with different strengths and weaknesses. Frozen meteors will thaw with fire, metal asteroids will transmit lightning, and much more. Each new level will bring new challenges, and the designs to pass them will need to be more complex.
Everything is a physical object, and you can exploit that! Each level can be solved in infinite ways, and they will test your creativity. You can create an efficient and clean solution, or a messy and overengineered one. The sky is the limit!
Once you think you've found your ideal design, sit back and watch the chaos produced by the objects falling, bouncing, and exploding!

Do you think you can find a more efficient solution? Do not fret. You can iterate between different designs really fast. You can add, destroy, or move your defense buildings endlessly and without cost. And if your head is not on the game at the moment, your solution will be saved, so you can always come back later and tinker with it again.

Design your own levels using the in-game level editor! Build whatever crazy idea you have in mind and share it on Steam Workshop.

New demo for Steam Next Fest!
Greetings, commanders! We are thrilled to announce a new version of the demo, just in time for Steam Next Fest!A lot has changed since the last demo: new levels, new mechanics, a complete interface redesign, and several quality-of-life improvements.Important: Due to changes in several levels of World 1, saved games from the previous version are not compatible with this demo. Here are all the new features: New levelsWe have removed the levels in World 1 that used ice turrets. After reviewing the progression of mechanics, we decided that the ice turret fits better in a later world, where new types of meteorites make its interaction more meaningful. In exchange, we added new levels with portals, which we believe provide a much more fun and fluid dynamic on their own.New mechanicsWe bring you a sneak peek at World 2, with two levels featuring two new mechanics:Frozen meteor: Many meteors in this world are trapped in a cube of ice when they enter the atmosphere. They don't bounce, they slide due to their low friction, and they are invulnerable while frozen.Fire Turret: To deal with frozen meteors, you need to melt them first. The fire turret shoots flames in the direction it is pointing, melting the ice and leaving the meteors burning, which causes them progressive damage.Interface redesignThe interface has been almost completely redesigned to simulate the player being inside a control booth from where they manage the defense system. The buttons no longer floating: they are now integrated into three-dimensional panels and screens, giving a more physical and coherent feel.In addition, we have improved the city's health bar. Previously, it was hidden away at the bottom of the screen; now it is displayed on a screen inside the cabin (bottom left), making it much more visible and intuitive.Quality of life improvementsThe meteor sign now shows the type of meteor that will fall first. If there are more than one type, a ‘+’ appears. Hovering over the sign displays a panel with full...Read full article on Community Announcements (Nyah)
