About this game

For a long time, the village of Wolfpine attracted all kinds of adventurers with the promise of treasure and glory. They stopped there to rest and restock before venturing further into the dangerous region full of magic and riches. However, recently, rumors appeared about these lands getting more dangerous, as if some long-forgotten evil awakened from its slumber and is now corrupting these lands.

You play as Lynn, an ambitious young woman drawn to Wolfpine by strange dreams. She finds the village in ruins and takes the important task of restoring it and finding what caused its ruin.

Wolfpine is your base for every adventure beyond the village. Journey past the gate to discover new places, meet strange creatures, and solve the mystery behind the attack on Wolfpine.

Every adventure brings you closer to your goal. Each restored house in the village unlocks new shops and upgrades, giving you more ways to delve deeper into the magical region. Upgrade your attributes, learn new abilities, and stock up on the best equipment and potions – then even harder enemies won’t be a problem on your quest.

Your strategy matters more than your clicking speed. Choose the best abilities for your style and watch the battle unfold automatically. Defeat is not permanent, as a powerful charm keeps you from dying and brings you back to Wolfpine. Upgrade your character, adjust your combat abilities, and try again.

Meet a rich cast of characters in Wolfpine and the nearby lands. Some will try to trick you or slow you down, while others will guide you and help you on your adventure. But one thing they all have in common is that they’re a bit lecherous.

Devlog #02 – Tactics before the fight

Hey everyone! GameBear here again. Today I want to go deeper into the combat system and equipment for my upcoming project, Lecherous Village. Picking the right approach for an adult roguelite with actual gameplay was not easy. I went through a lot of options and playtested most of them. I'm a big fan of the Wizardry series, and I've played a ton of RPG Maker games with turn-based JRPG combat, so my first instinct was something in between: turn-based fights with skills, items and equipment. I was sold enough on that idea to sink a HUGE amount of time into building it. It turned out decently – but it didn't feel right. All that clicking in every single fight worked against the relaxed pace I personally enjoy, and that's when I knew the combat had to be rebuilt from scratch. The question was how to keep a tactical layer while asking for very little input from the player. By sheer luck, around that same time I stumbled onto a couple of really good autobattlers, and it just clicked. So now the tactics live in choosing the right skills and equipment. Once that's set, you sit back and watch a fast-paced fight play out. You can already see this in the demo, though it's far from final. One thing I'm still not happy with is the sheer amount of equipment. After playtesting it myself, I decided that much gear just doesn't make sense in a game like this, so I've already started trimming the slots down. The character will have two upgradable slots for armor and weapon (upgradable in the Smithy, naturally), plus two trinket slots. On top of that, I made a small but meaningful change to combat: Lynn can now recruit one of the villagers to accompany her and help out on her quest. In the full release, this will lead to some spicy situations along the way too. So yes – I'm planning to update the demo to show these mechanics off. Right now I'm heads-down testing and polishing, and I'm aiming to have it all in the demo around the beginning of November. Thanks for reading, and stay tuned...

Devlog #01 – Meet the villagers!

Hey everyone! It’s GameBear again, and today I’m sharing more details about my upcoming project, Lecherous Village. In this post, I’m showing the main character and the villagers who support her in Wolfpine by training her, selling supplies, and upgrading her gear and stats for a reasonable fee.Lynn and the villagers:Lynn – the main character. She is a pragmatic young woman. Each night the same dream calls her to Wolfpine, so she travels there and stays after she sees the village is in trouble.Gort – an old, well-educated goblin who runs an alchemist shop in Wolfpine and sells potions and bombs to passing adventurers. He keeps the shop tidy, speaks like a scholar, and does not want Wolfpine destroyed because people in other settlements may be less tolerant of a goblin.James – a local merchant. He is the first to meet Lynn in the village and offers his help. He is shy and gentle, but he runs the shop well and makes good profit from adventurers.Borus – a former soldier, now the village’s headman. He watches over Wolfpine to keep it safe, and he offers training, guidance, and advice to adventurers. He is the main source of information about the magical region near the village, and he shares his opinion on what Lynn should do next.Amber – the guild master of the local Adventurer’s Guild. She runs the guild office, gives out jobs, and looks after the adventurers who take work from Wolfpine. She understands the village depends on adventurers, so she focuses on their safety and on making sure they are ready for the dangers ahead.Keira – the local blacksmith. She is tall, strong, and friendly, and she works long hours in the smithy making armor and weapons. Rumors say she is one of the few smiths who can craft magical artifacts.Ravena – the village’s witch. She uses unorthodox methods to gain magical power and offers counsel, and for a fee, she enchants armor and weapons. These are the villagers you meet early in Wolfpine, and you’ll see them again when you return to restock,...
