The Story

Step in the shoes of the greatest Knight to ever grace your presence... The ButtKnight!

The kingdom is on the brink of ruin ever since the denizens of the underworld attacked without warning, kidnapping the princesses and fair ladies far and wide. With the land now in shambles and nearly maidenless... Sir ButtKnight must emerge from his humble retirement to set things straight and bring back peace!

Gameplay

Use various weapons, items, and powerups to slay swarms of evil minions. Defeat bosses to free the kidnapped beauties from their greedy claws. Show those monsters what you're made of and return to the kingdom with maidens aplenty!

Score high to get laid™

The better you play, the lewder the maidens will become. Tantalizing adult scenes await those with well-honed skills. Don't settle for "good"—be the best!

  4 New Long H-ScenesWritten and drawn by skilled writers and artists from Critical Bliss, these scenes focus on highlighting the four heroines' backgrounds and personalities. Simply freeing each maiden will unlock the scene, then you can watch each scene by talking to each heroine in camp.Skippable CreditsThis was a feature requested by a lot of players, so we listened and added it in!Save Data Reset Option AddedYou can now reset your save data after completing the game by pressing this button in the main menu.5-2 Nerfed on Easy & NormalBased on the data we collected, we verified that the clear rate for Stage 5-2 was noticeably lower than other hard levels. Even though this level was intentionally designed to be challenging, we decided to nerf the boss a bit on the easier difficulties.Future PlansThanks to your overwhelming support, the team has begun working on a number of new projects. We plan to focus on writing a more intriguing storyline and adding proper replayability to our next title. Regarding ButtKnight, the sequel will more likely be a separate game instead of a DLC—but who knows? Our ideas are still in the conceptualizing and prototyping phase, so we'll share more info when that time comes.We hope you enjoy the free new content in the meantime!

  Development Update!

We were a bit late with the update due to being super concentrated soley on development, but now one of our final milestones is complete and we practically have the full game running, starting from main menu to end credits. Yay! All the stages and scenes are now there, only some polishing and balancing jobs remain. Our plan is to spend our next two whole months soley on polishing, day and night. New Control Options {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45012397/a35c0746cdba482098817c0c08dfee3303340e8e.png Now you will be provided with an option to move with WASD, and shoot with either JKL or mouse buttons. We also looked into one-hand control options™ as requested, but couldn't figure out a "universally" feasible way to ram all controls that we currently have into mouse buttons. This made us sad also. We may spend more time researching then come up with a solution after launch, but at least for now we recommend using remapper softwares for personalized gaming experience. Full Gamepad Support & Vibrations {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45012397/b95a1edd0358f6d7ebe67a2771b7cc38e2fdad45.png ButtKnight now fully supports Steam Deck, Xbox and Playstation controllers with proper visual keyguides, and we also binded vibrations to various ingame events such as explosions and charge slash attacks. Steam Achievements We are also adding various challenging yet accessible achievements into the game. Our intention is to make sure that even non bullet hell gamers can achieve all trophies, (there won't be a single achievement that is directly binded to difficulty settings) but that does not mean it will be easy since some of them will include challenges such as completing a level without being hit. Hardcore shoot 'em up fans will be able to enjoy the game fully in harder difficulties. We are putting extra effort into balancing harder difficulties, since the team truly loves hard yet barely beatable games. Community Items ...
