About this game
Chaos Front is the latest game of the Chaos Galaxy series, which has been deeply influenced by Super Robot War, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Advance War, and other similar games.
The program, art, and design are all completed by one developer alone.

Form your mercenary corps, move around the map of Centersea Sector, choose missions and join the war between the powers. Your choices will change the fate of people and the ending of the Centersea War.

Partners, enemies, friends ...... There are more than 100 important characters in the game, all with their own stories, identity talents and combat skills, such as commanders, staff officers, merchants, pirates, scientists ...... and even psychics, robots and aliens!
Battleships, submarines, mecha, artillery, fighters, titans ...... There are 70 available units in the game, all with different weapons and abilities.

Units can use a wide range of behaviors such as stealth, space mines, spreading fog, seizing, stealing, ramming, shelling, combating, shields, defensive force fields, and more. We can research the game system to create a powerful army with a variety of different play styles.

We can receive many missions with different story plots at the Mission Centers. It is also possible to participate in battles initiated by the big factions. When we become an ally of a faction, we can even make proposals to the faction to guide its strategic actions.

The Solaris Union, the first galaxy regime in human history, was destroyed due to corruption and tyranny during the Great Rebellion. After its fall, the galaxy was divided among three great powers. Unable to defeat each other, eventually, they agreed to a ceasefire and established the Interstellar Consortium to manage thousands of independent planets.
Unfortunately, the Interstellar Consortium soon became a tool for the three powers to control and exploit the galaxy. Interstellar navigation was restricted, and planets were subjected to economic exploitation.
In the 26th year of the Consortium Calendar, a revolution broke out on the planet Massilia in the Centersea Sector. The Consortium quickly decided to send fleets from the three powers to suppress the revolutionary planets. However, the Consortium Army was weakened due to the defection of the Black Flag, and the front line became a deadlock.
The great powers had to allow the Consortium Army to recruit mercenaries to supplement their forces in the war zone. The Revolutionary Army and the Black Flag also began recruiting mercenaries.
Militia, pirates, nobles, and technicians from all over the galaxy rushed to Centersea to join the war. Mercenary groups quickly became a main force in the Centersea warfare.
Under the temptation of wealth and honor, beneath the banner of revolution and freedom, and stirred by hegemony and conspiracy, the Galaxy was falling into a chaotic era...

Week Two Update Roundup
Hi everyone!During Chaos Front's second week since launch, I've pushed out about 10 small updates. Here's what's changed:1.Improved the Pugilist's stats, with a slight increase to Power Fist damage.2.Reinforced the overall UI logic to prevent the interface from freezing when right-clicking rapidly.3.When attacked by a fighter, if a unit in the squad has access to a skill Preempt, the default response is now to counter-attack rather than dodge. This affects both the enemy AI and the player's default action option.4.Fixed a bug in the formation menu that could cause numbering to become mismatched.5.Adjusted the size parameters of Defense Satellite and Orbital battery to correct an issue with incorrect HP loss during burning.6.Fixed an issue where Jerry's dialogue was incorrect when using his skill.7.Fixed a bug in a certain mission where enemy ships displayed being customized.8.Localization improvements to the English and Japanese text.Thank you for your continued support of Chaos Front!Han ZhiyuRead full article on Community Announcements (Han Zhiyu)Patch NotesOfficial
Final Update of Launch Week
Hello everyone!Since yesterday, I've pushed out over a dozen small updates. Here's what's changed:1.Added the option to buy ×5 items at once.2.Added an Options button to the system menu in the strategy scene.3.When selecting an AMRS in the formation Menu, that pilot's custom ARMS’ icon will now glow and flash in the list based on the currently selected pilot.4.When a unit is ambushed and every target it could counter-attack has a hit-and-run ability, both the player and the AI will now default to not counter-attacking, though it can still be selected manually.5.If a completed mission is mutually exclusive with an engage in the current faction battle, all engages in that battle will now automatically reshuffle.6.Fixed a very rare bug that could cause the world map to freeze during autosave.7.In the faction war's Reinforce Intercept mission, the Marching Leagues' main force now arrives on turn 3 instead.8.Fixed a bug in a small number of engages where diving enemy submarines could be seen.9.Slightly increased the power gained when the Fleet Primus uses its Ask Reinforcements order.10.Changed the Lycurgus company's starting tradition point allocation from Level 1 Death or Glory to Level 1 Profit-Seeker.11.Fixed a bug in the Lycurgus company's Peer Re-Feud mission where Trurl being destroyed incorrectly resulted in a victory.12.Reward for the mission Amateur Pirates has been changed to 1 Bedouin. This is the final update of launch week. Since release, I've done nothing but eat, sleep, and work for the entire week, pushing out nearly a hundred updates. I'm thoroughly exhausted, both physically and mentally. But I'm genuinely grateful for everyone's feedback this week, which has made Chaos Front noticeably more polished and brought it essentially in line with the standard I had in mind for a finished game. If you were holding off on playing because you were worried about bugs or frequent changes, you can now jump in and get a solid experience.Chaos Front is the fourth entr...Read full article on Community Announcements (Han Zhiyu)Patch NotesOfficial

Day Five Update Roundup
Hi everyone!Since yesterday, I've pushed out about 10 more small updates. Here's what's changed:1.Ship captains now receive an EXP reward upon successfully seizing an enemy unit.2.When starting a new game with the Lycurgus company, players will now be asked whether they want to disable the tutorial.3.The opening dialogue now informs players of that protagonist's win condition.4.A few characters who join the company later in the game have had their level raised by 1.5.Movement range tiles no longer flash when a player unit is selected; they now only start flashing after the move command is given.6.Fixed a bug where the mouse would become unresponsive when entering the Collection screen.7.Made a series of adjustments to the video settings code. New players launching the game for the first time will now automatically have their settings set to the display's maximum refresh rate and fullscreen mode. Existing players' previous settings will not be affected, and their fullscreen mode will no longer be automatically changed. This fix addresses the occasional slight mouse jitter issue (which occurs when the desktop resolution doesn't match the game resolution and the refresh rate isn't set to maximum). Existing players can also manually set the game resolution to match their screen and set the refresh rate to maximum to resolve the mouse jitter issue.Thank you to everyone who's supported Chaos Front!Han ZhiyuRead full article on Community Announcements (Han Zhiyu)AnnouncementsOfficial
Day Four Factionwar Adjustments
Hello everyone! There are currently several major issues with the factionwar system:1.Factions clash frequently early on, before the player's power has had time to develop.2.Within a single year, the situation snowballs into overwhelming dominance, with one side completely crushing another, leaving the two weaker factions holding nothing but their capitals.3.A faction reduced to just its capital struggles to rebuild its strength for a counterattack, and even when it does strike back, it must attack repeatedly against the enemy's entrenched defenses.4.Even players who want to help a struggling faction often feel powerless to turn the tide.Today's update addresses all of these issues in one pass.1.Added a facility for donating military funds at each faction's capital. You can hand over 100,000 credits to convert into that faction's war funds, gaining 100 relations and 200 Merit in return. (Takes effect on new campaigns.)2.Lowered the starting power of all factions. (Takes effect on new campaigns.)3.Set a defense cap of 500 for all planets outside faction's capital. (Takes effect on new campaigns.)You can start a new campaign to experience these changes to the factionwar system. There are also about 10 additional small updates, detailed below:1.Slightly reduced the reputation gained from low and mid tier factionwar battles, to avoid triggering the final battle too early.2.Even in a turn where a beam has already been focused, players can still refocus it again for the next turn.3.Fixed a bug where the Sylph Pods's damage bonus from the Psionic and the Elevated wasn't being applied, and changed it to +10% damage per level.4.Fixed a bug that could cause the game to freeze during ARMS boarding/disembarking operations.5.Fixed a bug where the button to join an event battle would sometimes become unclickable.6.Fixed a bug where submarine ambush kills weren't granting experience.7.Reduced the number of enemy squads by 1 in the factionwar's Blockade Run mission.8.Fixed the number...Read full article on Community Announcements (Han Zhiyu)
