Navigate through challenging isometric levels as you fight security guards with a bouncy ball in Ball Bulét. This 2024 indie game from Team Girollo combines action and adventure in a unique Bullet Hell experience.

About this game

◉ Ball Bulét started in the spring of 2022 as a Big One, an academic project by AIV - Accademia Italiana Videogiochi aimed at adding a production experience to the teaching carried out in the various courses, from the creation of the game concept to commercial publishing.
The objective of the Big Ones is to give students the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from other courses in the development of a video game project in which everyone can put the skills acquired during the lessons to the test and at the same time perfect their soft skills.
◉

Ball Bulét is an isometric, bullet hell, twin-stick shooter. In the game, you navigate various levels by defeating enemies using a sphere that can bounce off walls and opponents. Hitting more enemies at once will boost your gained score.

SHE FIGHTS....WITH A BALL?!

Your only weapon is "the Sphere", a simple ball capable of bouncing against every surface without taking damage, fused with a special magnet that lets it float on air and come towards you when you switch the magnet on your arm.
Why did you invent it? I'm not sure, and this is probably why the company fired you, taking all your old projects with it....except one they considered “useless” and that will determine their end.

THEY KNEW YOU WERE COMING

Crashing against the entrance with a hover car is not the stealthiest way to infiltrate, but sure it’s the coolest!!
The security guards had the green light to shoot on sight, and all units were set to max alert from that coward of a CEO.
Fight against unusual enemies that will not go easy on you.
Evade rockets, jump over lasers, dodge sniper shots, duel against Cyber Samurais, and get revenge on your ex-employer for stealing all you worked on.

IT'S NOT JUST A BALL...

Get your Sphere(TM) some treats for its good work! Search for the power-ups scattered across the map and surprise your enemies with special attacks combining those powers with your aim.

REACH THE TOP!

Reach the last floor of this titanic skyscraper, explore the offices, and the laboratories, or take a break at the company’s sauna.

    HotFix 2024.7.21

🛠 BUG FIXES ◆ Tutorial ◇ fixed an issue that let players press the buttons multiple times, creating an issue that blocked the last room ◇ Tutorial prompt of the rapid recall now shows the correct gamepad inputs ◆ Fixed an issue with a room on the 3rd level not activating correctly, it was all the door's fault ◆ Fixed an issue that made the enemies stuck inside their little entrance rooms🚪, they could see through the door and instead of reaching you they were trying to shoot you from inside, plus, they were always trying to respectfully move around the bodies of their defeated allies, so if you defeated an enemy in front of a door, they would struggle to exit,.... and we don't want that, so now they walk over their friends without mercy We fixed these, and other minor problems we will never tell you since you did not notice 😉 EXTRA ◆ Decreased PowerUp Collecting Achievement requirement from 100 to 15, Yes 100 was a bit too much, but STILL there's someone who made it, so big round of applause to MesSIKO for being the 1st Non-Developer to 100% all the Achievements🏆 👏👏👏👏

    Ball Bulét Patch 2024.6.20

Hello everybody!!👋 First of all, thanks for the 3300+ downloads⬇️ and the feedback we received 🩷 As you probably read, we are a small team of students, voluntarily developing Ball Bulét in their free time, so even if it's a small number for the average game development team, It's more than enough for us. We wanted to share a patch of Bug Fixes👾 and minor improvements🛠️ you warned us about before the Steam Next Fest ends. Without further here's the list of (most of) the changes: First of all, the most important change NEW FEATURE - Now, the game will save your current game!! 🎉🎉 No more starting over every time, or rescheduling your "touch grass session" because of a game with no saves Now the game will make you start from the level you reached (as it was always meant to do, but something broke along the way). You can still restart by starting the tutorial again (yes, we will deliver a more straightforward method in the future) IMPROVEMENTS - Various adjustments to make the Sphere more dependent on you, the player, decreasing the chance of it roaming around defeating enemies all by itself - Decreased Sphere speed Golden multiplier, so you can see where it's going and admire its beautiful golden trails - HUD opacity is now more dynamic based on the game events FIXED: - Player animation is fixed, and does not show Tpose supremacy anymore - Input Score name can now be interacted with correctly, no more losing your cursor in the shadow realms or whatever - Doors now changing colors correctly, their colors were meant to help you navigate on the levels, but they were not returning the correct color in some specific cases, until now - Volume does not reset when you enter a level anymore, so now you don't have to pause each time anymore - Fixed a wall not interacting with the Sphere when golden - Now when the game asks you to "Press any to continue", it will accept ANY button (duh) - It should now be impossible to have a room close to you outside, I dare you to find a way to ...
