About this game
All of this being visible from the lens of one such victim of this world: Hounderick.
A samoyed dog living a pretty dull life of an office worker with an even duller lifestyle of beating up delinquents, stealing their money, harassing shopkeepers for discounts and insulting his neighbors. This changes when he finds out the co-worker he was ignoring for some time, Beardford the bearded dragon, was a CEO's son. The attempts of getting in contact with this CEO cause a kidnapping to happen that drags both Hounderick and Beardford into a pretty dangerous place, one that Hounderick knows tragically well.
This game features:
- Giant cities to search through trash, random wooden boxes lying around, or maybe a stranger's house, to find useful things to mercilessly beat up your enemies in turn-based combat.
- An optional bug catching minigame to get even more items that make your enemies beg at your feet.
- Unique NPCs complaining about things at daytime and nighttime.
- Bribing shopkeepers for discounts
- Threatening delinquents.
- Completing quests that are mostly from animals that have no friends.
- An achievement for sitting on a chair.
- Talking fish.

Steam Workshop + Updated Chinese Translation + AW 2 Page
- 三角含树 has updated the chinese translation. (This includes fixing some dialogues in the later part of the story that were awkwardly organized.) - Added the custom quest editor After completing the main story, you unlock the ability to create custom quests(+ custom NPCs).(Although the editor is pretty limited) Your created quests will appear in the "Custom" folder outside the game, and as listed quests in the weapon shop marked in blue text inside the game. You can access the editor from the options menu via "Custom Stuff". (The game checks if you completed the game via your Global file in the root folder of the game) - Added Steam Workshop implementation for uploading Arrow graphics & Custom Quests Subscribed workshop items will automatically appear upon launching the game. (Arrow graphics in the arrow graphic list, custom quests in the weapon shop quest list) Also here's the gamepage for the sequel: https://ninjachicle.itch.io/animalistic-worlds-2 The early access will pretty much function as a prologue only and will release after I finish Dungeon Driller. (Which could still take a few months) I will obv try to release it to steam once I complete its fullversion in idk how many years.(You can write to me any questions/complaints you have left about the plot or any other story parts of the first game, so that I can try to resolve those in the sequel, since admittedly I did rush the story at the end a bit.) - Fixed another graphical bug in the crocodile cutscene - Fixed getting locked out of the mouse house quest if you leave before completion - Fixed walking through certain tiles - Fixed more enemies ambushing you with a battle before the proper screen brightness - Fixed the graphical loading bug in the item list. - Fixed Balloon Emotion not displaying above the bug shopkeeper properly in the slums. - Fixed Jaguar enemy jumping in the wrong directions if you walk on specific tiles - Fixed instance where if crocardo murdered you with his throw attack, and you reloade...Read full article on Community Announcements (NinjaChicle)Patch NotesOfficial

- Fixed player graphic not switching to Hounderick's graphic in crocodile cutscene when party leader isn't Hounderick - Added new code for Weapon Shop that gives you an item I left unused for a very long TIME - Added small detail to a certain quest enemy's graphic - Made some enemy encounters wait for the proper screen brightness before they attempt to beat you up in combat (in case you saved near them and they spot you before the fadein effect finished)Read full article on Community Announcements (NinjaChicle)Patch NotesOfficial
Steam Screenshot added to record all of Hounderick's crimes
- Added the steam screenshot functionality from the steam overlay but not the steam overlay itself (cuz it doesnt work in vx ace) You can change the screenshot key in the menu options in the game or in the game.ini file and decide whether you want the screenshot to save in steam or in the game root folder. (F12 doesn't work for now because it's set as the key that immediately returns you to the title screen in rpg maker.) - Fixed hounderick turning into a newspaper if he leaves the train with a costume on.Read full article on Community Announcements (NinjaChicle)Patch NotesOfficial
Navigation Arrow added to strike fear into any wandering bug
